Selling or advertising is strictly against board policy and moderators work hard to make sure that policy is followed. Sure some people on this board do sell things elsewhere but that doesn't mean their presence here isn't allowed.

Maybe the post is referring to the fact that Dis'ers list their Ebay names in their siggies. That 's the only thing I can some up with. But that's not against guidelines.

Yes, selling is against the rules. But it is okay to have ebay ids in signatures.

The boards do get hit with spam sales threads sometimes, but usually they are removed pretty quickly.
