Stop Making Me Laugh Or I'll Pee My Pants! Go Back! I Lost My Shoe! Trip Report!

Yeah, it's taken me three days but I have finally caught up to everyone else and I have finished reading about your first day and a half at DIsney World. I can tell it's going to be an impressive read because you're already on page 70! I was lucky because I got to read all the parts about your Mom quickly with no real suspence. Glad to know she is home and doing well.
Now I can sit back relax and enjoy the story with out rushing to catch up!

I forgot to mention that I booked our 2010 Disney vacation today. I have no idea what I have been waiting on because I settled on our dates a while ago. If they do come out with a deal for our travel dates, I'll call and have it applied to our existing reservation. I've done that before so, surely, it won't be a problem.

How exciting for you. I hope a deal comes up before you have to pay balance. They make it so easy to book and pay on so you don't feel completly broke.

Connie is coming up with a plan for next spring. You may need to talk to her.

Ginny

Do any of you remember when they were supposed to stop taking applications for the 2010 Disney Mom's Panel? Just wondering.

it appears to be closed already; it was by a certain date or a number of app which ever came first

CONGRATUALTIONS!!!! I can't believe you have your booking...I soooo want to book; but I have to be a good girl and wait:rolleyes1
I would love to book and tell him about it later....but, that would not be very nice at all.......

Oh! well I'm happy for you and your group -- you have your dates and ressies and ready to go! :yay:

Still here and reading. So glad that Mom is home and doing well. I may have missed it but have the Drs said whether or not her mouth will get less droopy or is that the way it is going to be? I hope you can convince her to not worry about. :goodvibes

Love your update. Pizzafari is so yummy! We are hoping to try Flametree this year but going in Nov/Dec we have the issue of it sometimes being too cold to sit outside. That is what happened last year when we wanted to eat there. We chose Pizzafari because it was warmer for my Mom who has Raynaud's disease (a rare disorder of the blood vessels, usually in the fingers and toes causing them to turn purple then white when they get cold).

Great update!! You got some great pictures at Rafiki's Planet Watch. We tried looking for some Hidden Mickey's there in April. (but we didn't find too many...I guess we are not very good at it...) Luckily, a very nice CM helped us out.;)

:yay:Congratulations on booking!!! So, when did you say you were going again?

Another fun update! I enjoyed looking at all of the hidden Mickeys and even at eight-thirty in the morning, those pizzas looked soooo yummy!

Too funny about Lacey and Hunter dancing the Napolean Dinomite dance. Your kids are just a hoot!

Good morning Lisa. Another beautiful day in the Ozarks here. This time of year makes me glad I'm here. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday.

Great update! That is so cool you spent some time looking for Hidden Mickeys. My dad bought one of the HM books a while ago and we keep meaning to take it with us but always forget. :headache: One of these days we'll remember...

Mmmmm Pizzafari.

So glad your mom is home - You go to the hospital to get fixed and go home to get well. Keeping her in my prayers.:flower3:

Lisa, I read that you had Bells - so did I. I was wondering if when you sneeze does water squirt out your weaker side? Just wondering if that was all mine......:rolleyes1

I am loving your updates - keep them coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great update Lisa. Thanks for the pics of the Pizzafari food! We are planning to eat there in November.

Glad your mom is home. :goodvibes

We usually eat at either Pizzafari or Flame Tree when we go to the Animal Kingdom. It was just too hot to eat BBQ outside so we opted for Pizzafari. I think your boys will enjoy it.

Lisa, so glad to hear that your mom is home--that is great news! I've caught up with most of your report. We're still in Marco and this computer throws me off every 10 minutes. Thanks for the PM; we're having a great time in Marco Island. Today we spent 90 minutes with Nicki of MickeyNicki (she does all the great food reviews). You'd think we'd known each other forever and were not just meeting for the first time. We talked and laughed and had a great time (poor Mark could hardly get a word in edge wise). Now, back to catching up on your trip report.

I would love to meet MickeyNicki! She does awesome food reviews. Have a great time in Marco Island.

Great update!!!

I would like to make a confession... I would like to grow up to be just like you! Here I am waiting for my trip to happen and I have read one of your trip reports, am currently reading your latest trip report, and I look at your ticker and you lucky, lucky dog are going back in less than 9 months... and here I am, still waiting... but hey - 70 days tomorrow!!!

You're so funny! I am super excited to be going back in May/June instead of August. If we have an early Disney vacation, we can still do a few long weekend trips during the Summer.

It is a good thing your sis didn't come over last night. I did not get to go to Austin's game. I was home under the weather. Feel better today but now Don has whatever it is. I didn't even sleep with him last night. I didn't want to give him anything.

I put a video link on my TR on Austin's game last night. It was on one of the local tv stations.

Now back to you.

I know exactly how your mom feels. She wants everyone there and she wants no one there. You are right tho. If Hunter were there all the time she would be worrying if he had what he needed and be so concerned about him she would wear herself out. I am glad she is home for you tho.

Good update. I know you are one of the families we stare at when at the park after everyone quits staring at us and our antics. I feel like I was right there with you. Oh, I was. Thank John for saving that one last bite of apple pie for me. I was hungry too.

I'm so excited we get to go see ITTBAB next. I love that show. Except for the stink bug part. I can't wait to see if we liked it this time.

Ginny

I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better. Is Don doing okay now or still feeling under the weather? You will both be in my prayers.

Yesterday, I ran a few errands for my Mama. She needed something soft to wear that wouldn't bother her groin incision. I found her a pair of really soft track type pants on sale at Khol's. They were Adidas and I only paid $4.00! They were a little long for her but we hemmed them up and they fit her fine now.

Hunter did spend about a hour with her yesterday afternoon doing nothing but sitting around and watching television.

Today, we had her come outside and sit on the porch while I potted some new plants. She said it was nice to get out of the house.

We like to have fun together as a family and we are movie nuts! We are constantly quoting things from funny movies thus the Napoleon Dynamite dancing. We weren't loud and we certainly wouldn't have done it if there was a ton of people around but it was fun.

Love the hidden Mickey's I can't wait to go back and see how many more we can find!:earboy2:

I love the safari and train ride at AK! so relaxing and exciting all at the same time...

Have a great weekend! :wave2:

I really need to get Lacey's Rafiki's Planet Watch pictures uploaded to photobucket. We took more hidden Mickey pictures with her camera.

so glad to hear your mama is home and doing well, I will keeping praying that she has a continued speedy recovery.

Great trip update and pics as always!

I greatly appreciate your continued prayers!

Napoleon Dynamite is such a good movie. We quote many movies a lot. Our fav now is The Hangover.

It was a gorgeous day to be out. Back to work tomorrow. Ick.

So, I;m on the outside looking in on this movie ND; you keep mentioning?!?
asked Dayne and I quote, "that is what YOU call a brain cell waster movie...but, it sure was "funny"! :lmao: "nothing you would ever see, why do you ask?" so I tell him...he says I bet that was great; really was a funny movie. So, Hunter and Lacey got a big:thumbsup2 from Dayne!!!:cutie:

I'm so happy your mom was able to get out and feel some wonderful sunshine today! That should help her get around alot quicker! Have ya'll received any cooler weather, yet! we are suppose to start cooling off tomorrow night and it is suppose to be almost in the high 50's by Wed morning:cool1:

Have a great evening! Lisa:wave2:

You did!!!!! When is it, when is it???

I booked 9 nights at the CBR! Our arrival date is May 27th and our departure date is June 5th. I decided to forego the water park and more option this year. We want to take that money and do something different....maybe renting watercraft from one of the deluxe resorts, horseback riding or possibly a tour.

Yeah, it's taken me three days but I have finally caught up to everyone else and I have finished reading about your first day and a half at DIsney World. Hey! Glad that you're here and all caught up. We are a bunch of talkers on my thread and on the others' threads as well.

I looked everywhere for the link. Thanks!

I don't know why it took me so long to book because we decided on the dates right after we came home from this trip.

Yeah, I don't think it'd be too good of an idea to book without telling the hubby.:rolleyes1

The doctors won't say too much about the droopy mouth other than "hopefully it will improve". My mother's 1st cousin is a retired nurse and she said that it wasn't uncommon and should improve. We can already tell it's better but it still bothers her. I keep playing it off like it's no big deal.

We really like Pizzafari too and it's air conditioned which is another plus. I've never heard of Raynaud's disease. My fingers and toes turn a bluish purple when I get really cold.

I absolutely love searching for hidden Mickeys. This trip, John got into it too. I think it's because Lacey was with us and the two of them were trying to out-do the other.

Another fun update! I enjoyed looking at all of the hidden Mickeys and even at eight-thirty in the morning, those pizzas looked soooo yummy!

Too funny about Lacey and Hunter dancing the Napolean Dinomite dance. Your kids are just a hoot!

I have more hidden Mickey pictures from Lacey's camera. I'll upload them and post those soon.

My kids are absolutely nutso! We love funny movies and are always quoting lines from our favorites.

Good morning Lisa. Another beautiful day in the Ozarks here. This time of year makes me glad I'm here. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday.

I'd love to be in the Ozarks right now. John and I were saying today that we want to take Mama to Hot Springs in a couple of weeks. She should feel up to traveling by then.

Great update! That is so cool you spent some time looking for Hidden Mickeys. My dad bought one of the HM books a while ago and we keep meaning to take it with us but always forget. :headache: One of these days we'll remember...

Mmmmm Pizzafari.

Searching for hidden Mickeys is a favorite pasttime for Hunter and I. John doesn't enjoy it as much as us but he does get in on it.

We are glad she's home too! I appreciate the continued prayers!

Isn't Bells palsy the craziest, most annoying thing ever! I have lots of crocodile tears but I can't remember if it squirts out when I sneeze. Hum....I'll have to pay more attention. Every time I smell something spicy, my eye waters. And, when I eat, it waters. Weird!

Whew, I was behind by 20ish pages when I left for my trip (stupid work getting in the way of my reading!) and now I'm about 50! This is going to be a lot of reading. At least I have today off (got back home last night) to catch up (and upload pictures, and edit pictures...). I also need to rest a bit. Disney with a 2 1/2 year old (of which I'm not used to chasing around!) is not exactly a restful vacation.

Looking forward as always to reading (and catching up) about your adventures Lisa, as well as everyone else in this thread. It's the only one I keep coming back to :). I will say that I thought of you a couple times and your "gotta pee" moments.

Hi Lisa!

Glad to hear Mama is home and Hunter is enjoying lovin' on his grandma.

I cracked up laughing at the Napoleon Dynamite reference. We LOVE that movie!! We are always quoting stupid lines from movies too...I'm tellin' ya....we'd be great friends if only we weren't so far away from each other! Oh....Isaiah went as Napoleon one year for Halloween...thought I'd share the pic!

Doing "happy hands"!

We have yet to make it out to Rafiki's. Do you do it on every trip? Is it worth heading back there? I thought it was mainly a petting zoo and that my boys were really too big, but maybe I'm totally wrong! I'd love for you to weigh in!

I am definitely buying the Hidden Mickey book for our next trip. Dan had a great time this past trip and I think it would be perfect for him to keep him interested as he gets older! :thumbsup2

Good morning Lisa. Hope things are well for you today and that your mom contines on a speedy recovery. A trip to Hot Springs in a couple of weeks would be ideal. The weather should be wonderful with the leaves starting to turn. I'm sure you all would enjoy that.

Hope you have a grand day.

Ginny
