Stop at a grocery store?

Hi everyone! We are spending our first two nights in Orlando at Royal Pacific Resort, so we won't need much food/snacks (we don't mind doing the Burger King thing and poolside nachos ). We are looking to get our cab to stop somewhere between the airport and the hotel to get a few beer, some Pepsi, and some water, so any suggestions would be great. Just not sure how it works in Florida-here I could get all that stuff in a convenience store, but not sure of liquor laws in Florida.

We are then heading to Disney for 9 days afterwards,and will make a grocery stop at Publix or something on the cab ride from Universal hotel to Pop Century. When we went to Disney the first time, Pop sold Otis Spunkmeyer muffins in the food court. This time around,they didn't,and they didn't have them at the Publix where we stopped. Anyone know where I can find them, and also, any recommended places to stop, or is Publix comparable in price/selection of other nearby places?

you can get it all in a wal-mart. (not sure about O.S. muffins) The first time I went inside walmart in florida, they had vodka on an endcap... blew my mind! We have to go to the liquor store in NC to get any liquor. Walmart does sell beer as well, and will probably be your cheapest spot to shop overall. There are two walmarts not too far from property if I remember correctly... it's been a couple of years though...
