Stoned again & again & again & ...

Well,

Unfortunately the last lithotripsy only shaved the corners off my kidney stone. I still have a 6mm stone stuck in my right ureter! Right now I'm only in some discomfort but the doctor says that can't last and was surprised I didn't have more pain. I'm scheduled to go in for another round of "sonic blast" next Thursday if I can make it that long. Right now I'm water logged from all the liquids but in minimal pain.

I realize my problems are trivial compared to what's going on in the world right now but...Never Mind!... How 'bout a little prayer and PD for our boys in Iraq! My problems will pass!!!!

My DH passed a 6mm kidney stone a few months.... You have my sympathy! I know he was in a LOT of pain. I hope it passes without much more pain.

Sorry that you are in pain, but I surely can relate. I know I couldn't survive it without my Percocet, have you been taking something to help relieve the pain?

hey, I found the PAIN thread!! LOL I had an emergency root canal yesterday! My first ever! owie owie owie!!
And Kirk, I was thinking the same thing: I should not whine so much with what the rest of the world and other individuals are going through.

My father, with sweat streaming from him, turned to the nurse in the hospital and croaked out "How big was the stone!?". She smiled and said "About the size of a pencil lead."
He replied "No way! It was the size of a pea wrapped in barbed wire!!!".
