Stone VIP experiences

I’m interested in VIP tour. Some people have mentioned a company called Stone VIP that does them. Online there are some good reviews, just curious if anyone has any experience. Also wondering if it would be a waste of time as we’re going the week of Labor Day (Sept 5-8) and it might not be that busy anyway. Thanks in advance

I can't speak to an outside company. We have done the Disney VIP tours, and I'd highly recommend them.

Any outside company will not have access to the things the Disney VIP guides do. All they will do is maximize the use of LL and paid ILL and come up with a plan to get you on the attractions you want to do. They do not have any special privileges.

Disney VIP guides transport you from park to park in a private van, enter parks (and some attractions) through "back" entrances, and take you through the LL for attractions without needing to "book" the LL. You can also ride multiple times in a row through the LL entrance (for almost all attractions - not sure about the new ones like Tron). They also provide water/snacks in the van (at least they did when we used them). If you want them to pick you up/drop you off at your Disney resort, they can do that too.

Pricing for Disney VIP tours vary from day to day. You can call to check the days you want to go.

Just wanted to point out the differences between the two.

I wouldn't waste money on an outside tour guide - I'm not even sure Disney allows them, as it would be a service using Disney property.

If you're going to spend the money, go with the official disney tour guide! Booking an outside co would be like paying to read the posts here

I won’t touch outside tour groups. None of them are sanctioned by Disney, none of them are official. The only real VIP tour is the one sold by Disney. On my last trip to WDW I encountered this fake VIP tour phenomenon twice.

First a rideshare driver solicited us with business cards and said he was a Disney VIP tour guide. Guaranteed Space 220 lunch reservations and riding all the top rides in one day and even a golf cart ride in the back because he’s official. “What the?” I thought to myself as I realized that is definitely not a VIP Tour and he’s got quite the racket going - and if his Disney connections get fired before your trip you’re out your dough.

Second time I was waiting by the water at BTMRR and I overheard two people talking to each other, one was training the other in these fake VIP tours. “If you can’t get it just make up stories to get the groups in through the Lightening Lanes. We’re all told to do that.”

There is nothing a knockoff VIP Tour can do that you can’t do on your own with prior research, G+ and ILLs. If there is something they can do that you can’t they’re cheating Disney’s system and by participating with them you expose yourself at a minimum to losing what you pay them and at most being kicked out of the park and tickets forfeited.

Keep the stranger out of your day and do it yourself, buy a touring plans sub if you don’t want to plan it yourself.
