We rented at disney, but I've taken $300 strollers to zoos, amusement parks, etc., and never locked them up. I figure if someone is going to steal a stroller, he is probably planning on selling it, and will be looking for a much more expensive stroller. I do mark them well, because I think that the majority of the time, people take the wrong stroller.

We have gone for years with strollers and have never had any problems and we leave our cameras and everything in them! I trust Disney and I always think who is going to try and steal a stroller when they never know who is looking...

I trust Disney, but I don't trust the other guests to leave my stuff alone. I didn't leave anything more valuable than a rain poncho in my stroller when I used one. Plus ... how will everyone who is looking know that someone is stealing a stroller and not just taking their own? Please take your valuables with you next time!

My rented Disney double stroller was definitely stolen at AK at ITTBAB. It had our very unusual name in large black letters labeling it. The CM's helped me search all the places they park them but it was really gone...All the CM's could find to give me was an old ratty single from the back (we were really far from the rental area). I had three kids so I wasn't thrilled with the trade!

When we left the park, I told the stroller rental people what had happened and they refunded my entire rental fee! I was pleasantly surprised by that.

I would guess that more rentals get taken than personal strollers...

We had our nice, big stroller stolen so now we take in a used umbrella or rent at the park. It happens.

That stinks! You hate to think people would just walk off with something that isn't thiers; they never think about hte fmaily who'll need it when they return to pick it up. We lock ours.

Taking a stroller for the first time in years. I'm thinking about tying an old clean sock to the handle as a deterrent. Leaving the diaper bag in the stroller, it just has diapers, wipes and a change of clothing in it. But I don't anticipate leaving the stroller by itself too many times since my MIL is also going and doesn't do too many rides.

We had a case of mistaken identity. We went on one ride and then got off to get our stroller (personal) but it was GONE!

Had a few CM's help us find it...it was around the curve parked at another ride.

The stroller that was left was NOT similiar to ours. Our stroller had our jackets in there and sodas in the cup holders.

We will be taking a personal stroller again this time, b/c we will have a baby that needs it. Gonna have to do something...don't want it mistakenly taken!
