I'm Caitlin. My parents call me Katie, but when they're mad at me they call me Caitlin and use my middle names. I am 5'9'' and 123 pounds, I have blonde hair, blue eyes, long fingers, size 10 feet and nice teeth even though I have never had braces. I hardly ever paint my nails any other colour but clear to make them shiny, and I have never dyed my hair. I am turning 15 years old on March 18th, and I'm currently in the 9th grade. I'm shy, quiet when I'm around people I don't know, but crazy loud when I'm with my friends and family. I say what's on my mind, and I have been told numerous times that I never know when to shut up. I like to argue, and my dad says I would make a great lawyer, but I don't want to be a lawyer. I read what I want to read, and watch what I want to watch- I don't believe in censorship. My grade point average is 3.8 (almost to that perfect 4.0. grr). I have English, German, Czech, and Canadian blood in me. My mother was born in England, my dad was born in Canada, but my Opa was born in Czechoslovakia, and my Oma in Germany. All of my siblings, and I were born in Canada.
I have a mom, a dad, a younger brother, a younger sister, and an older sister. My mom is pregnant (again) and is due to have my baby sister the day after my birthday, in two and a half months. My maternal grandmother lives in our basement suite, and so did my grandfather up until his death from chronic lymphocytic leukemia two years ago. Our family has two dogs, two cats, and one fish.
I live in the lower mainland in British Columbia, Canada. I live just outside of a farming community, with lots of local businesses with store-owners that know their costumers. I want to move to northern California, or possibly southern Oregon when I'm older.
Music really is my passion, although clearly a different genre from U Just Got PUNKD. I started to sing with my grandfather when I was six years old, a year before he was diagnosed with cancer. I sat beside him on the piano bench while he played the piano for me. He sometimes got frustrated with me when I got the rhythm wrong, but I was only six so he was patient. My fourth grade music teacher recommended that I sing in a choir, and this is my fifth year singing in my city's professional children's choir. I have a first soprano voice, but my choir instructor stuck me in second soprano this year to ''challenge me''. I want to sing and act on broadway when I graduate from university, but my dad says that their isn't enough money involved so I really don't know what I'm going to do with my life. My choir mostly sings classical music, in French, Latin, German, Japanese, English, and Italian but I also love to sing Jazz, and Gospel music. I can only sing certain Pop songs, my voice just isn't right for that sort of thing.
I am currently finishing off my updated resume and in two weeks time I'm going to apply at the new coffee shop opening down the street from me.
Green is my favourite colour, but it depends on the shade. My favourite subjects in school are french and science. My favourite restaurant is White Spot. Favourite type of chips is Miss Vickie's Jalepeno. Favourite Disney princess is Jasmine, and my favourite Disney movie is Aladdin. I love the food channel; sadly food is my other great passion. I have read alot of different books, but off the top of my head, my favourites are
The Truth About Forever,
This Lullaby,
A Little Love Song,
The Davinci Code,
Memoirs of a Geisha, and
The Complete Works of Edgar Allen Poe. My favourite author is Sarah Dessen.
I eat my emotions. My pizza record is an entire medium vegetarian pizza to myself plus four pieces of medium cheese. I can eat an entire carton of chocolate ice cream in one sitting, and I probably consume more chocolate in a year than the entire world does in three days. I'm proud of my personal food records and I tell people whenever the subject of food comes up. I'm an ovo-lacto vegetarian, and when I move out I'm becoming a vegan. Sadly, I'll have to give up pizza and ice cream as I know it and stick with soy.
I insist on spelling ''colour'' and ''favourite'' the Canadian way (with the ''u'' included) even when I am writing to an American audience.

And just to clear up some stereotypes... I hate hockey... lacrosse is Canada's national sport last time I checked... I have never seen a beaver in my entire life... I have seen a moose before- once... I do NOT live in an igloo... We get snow once a year where I live, if we're lucky enough to get it at all... I have only heard about 3 people say ''eh'' where I live.
I hate Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, along with the message they sends out to young girls. I make it clear that I don't hate them for jealousy.
I hate Canadian stererotypes and blonde jokes. I tend to write too much in my posts, which you have probably noticed. I know I have said ''I'' way too many times in this post. I'm a coffee addict. I think smoking is gross. I'm going to marry some unsuspecting guy one day- he just doesn't know it yet. I have three American cousins in the army and they have all been to Iraq, but I don't want them to be in the army. I have suffered from anxiety before. I love shoes and purses, my collection is massive. Reese Witherspoon and Emmy Rossum (Christine) are my favourite Hollywood celebrities. I love the Musicals
Les Miserables and
The Phantom of the Opera (which were both much better than the movies). I can play the flute- although I'm not very good at it. I don't want to die alone and unknown.
If I had to pick one emote that was most like me I would pick this one:

LoL joking.. this one:

It's a little crazy, but it's still simple and very much like a regular smiley. It's just a little different- special, just like everyone is in their own way.
There. That's my very disorganized, fortuitous post all about me. I know its long, but I don't know how some of you managed to summarize yourself in a few lines of text- write some more about yourselves for heaven's sake!
Oh, and Sparx- what about you?
