We are going to be at WDW Christmas morning. I would like to stuff my DH & DS(12) stockings with things they can use on the trip. I love the idea of the foot & hand warmers "foxfire" had. I'll definitely be putting those in there. Anyone got any other suggestions? By the way, our stockings are huge, so the item doesn't have to be real small. Also, we're staying at FW, if that matters. Thanks :)

how about a hidden mickey book for your son.

How about Disney band-aids? You never know when you'll get a blister from all of that walking.

Go to the dollar store in your area and get some glow sticks and glow necklaces. kids always want the light up things they are selling at the parks at night, and this saves alot of money.

I bought enough for each night of our trip.:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Disney sox, undies, T's...

die cast ride vehicles....

Disney playing card

How about those packages of Disney collectables things-you get 3 little mini icons in a package and each series has 18 pieces. (sorry I'm not doing a very good job describing them...)

all sorts of Disney candies, cookies, pretzles

A disney ornament that they can put on the Christmas tree every year to remember their Christmas disney trip by.

Thanks guys for your suggestions. I just wanted to note that my son is a very mature 12 yo. Please don't offended by this comment, I think all your ideas are invaluable. :) Keep 'em coming! :teeth:

If he has a gameboy or one of those hand held games, maybe you could get him one that he could play while on your vacation.

Where's the best place to get the Hidden Mickey's book? DS & I love looking for them on the rides. :) Ornaments are my fav. souvie. I'll be spending plenty of money on ornaments at the DTD Christmas store, and especially in the Germany pavilion. :o I'm thinking that buying some food goodies will give me an excuse to do some shopping at DTD on the 23rd (arrival day). Thanks again for the ideas. I hope I'll get more. :)

I bought one of these because I wanted to read it, but my 10yo went NUTS over it. He spent the whole trip making us all a bit crazy talking about the Mickeys. He found a lot and enjoyed asking CMs about them when he got the chance. I was amazed out how much fun he had out of such a simple thing.

I found my copy on eBay with a couple of other books, but I usually search "discount books" when I want to order one. Usually a cost comparison site comes up that will locate the same book on several sites and compare the prices. I've also used Amazon.com a couple of times.

What about a penny press book and a few rolls of quarters!!
DS loved this last trip at 11. Disney dollars are also great. DS now carries his own fanny pack with everything he wants so one of those is a great idea. Lots of snacks they can stick inside too.

another idea - a disposable camera for your son so he can take his own pictures and a photo album.

Do they like arts and crafts? - do a google search for arts and crafts stocking for kids. I sell them but I didn't know if it is appropriate for me to post my own store in here.

How about a chocolate bar, marshmellows and graham crackers to make smores. Oh, and some Disney sing-a-longs. :-) Christmas P.J.'s. A ggift certificate for a spa treatment.

Spa treatments! :scratchin That's an intriguing idea. Please, tell me more! :hyper: I would be interested in this for DH & DS(12). Also, where do I get the GC's? Thanks :)

I just did a search and found that Barnes & Noble and Amazon both have the hidden Mickey book. I think my 9dd would like this. We are going the 17th - 26th so I would rather they have some of the things at the beginning of the trip instead of waiting till the 25th. I'm thinking that we will exchange gifts when we first get there and just leave the 25th for Santa. That way I could give my DH a spa treatment too.

cookie2001,
Maybe you could do something like we do for our son. We do our version, of the 12 days of Christmas. I started this to keep him from begging to open his gifts prior to Christmas when he was small, and it became a tradition. He gets one gift each day leading up to the last one on Christmas Day. For him, these are usually small things to placate him, but since we arrive at WDW on Dec. 23rd, he'll be getting surprises for the trip. You could do something like this, giving them the gifts that they need sooner on one of the first days. This could also help to build up the anticipation of the trip. Just a thought. :scratchin Have a great trip. :)
