With the latest Disney Annual Report, there was a brochure (sales material) for DVC and it noted "free vacation". I went to the link, but couldn't see anything like that. We just purchased SSR with F&F Promo:banana: , and am wondering what they're talking about. Anybody know?! Is it really anything, or just the usual "save by buying" routine? I might do a 25-pt add-on if there's an add'l free vacation in there...

Thanks! And a belated thank-you:love: for all the info when we were buying last month - you guys should get kick-backs!

I'm almost 100% sure it is just another way of promoting the developer points that are part of the AKV promotion if you buy a minimum number of points (can't remember if it's 160 or some other number). Since the AKV points can't be used right away, DVC is offering the developer points as an incentive. There are restrcition on the use of the developer points. I'm sure there are others here who can post more specific details

FWIW, I think the F & F promotion was one of the better incentives DVC has offered. I don't think we'll see it or anything better in the near future.

A colleague just told me about the same "free vacation" information she received with her annual report as well. Since my stock is held through a brokerage account, I do not get the annual report directly. I too just bought @ SSR through F&F so if anyone receives any clarification on this offer, please do share.
Thanks!!! :thanks:

DVC gives you a credit of $1,500 when you purchase SSR. The credit is given in the form of discount on price per point equivalent to $1,500 (what DVC considers value of 1 holiday). That's what I understand it to be.

If you want more information, send me a pm and I can give you my guide's direct 1-800 number and he can give you all information you may need.
