Does anyone know if there is anyway I can get/purchase stock photos to use in a photobook I would like to create of our Disney trip? I would like a few shots of things I missed that were very memorable, like the WDW Railroad which was my sons favorite ride. I'm not sure if this is even possible. I know Disney had some on their photopass site but I wanted to use shutterfly.

Thanks!

I don't know about stock photos but here are a couple not so great shots of the train and station that you are welcome to use. Others here may have better ones that they would share. It was raining when I took these so I was taking photos VERY quickly.

I don't know where you can get professional, commercial stock photos of Disney. There are some places where you can get some amateur snapshots. There is a Shutterfly account set up by some of the scrapbook people for sharing photos. You can read about the Shutterfly account here.

I have posted two threads with links to pictures that I've taken that are also free for borrowing. The threads are here and here.

You might also want to browse through the collections listed on Barrie's Great Disney World Photos page. If you find a picture there that you like, contact the photographer and ask them if you can use or buy the picture.

Finally, search through the threads here. There are many excellent photographers here and some are very open to letting people borrow a few of their photos for personal use once they've asked permission.

Another great way to get pictures would be to send a list of shots you want along with plain tickets, prepaid hotel reservations, and park passes for me, my partner, and my two models. We'll take a bunch of pictures for you. I promise.

Here is a picture of the train:

Even those on PhotoPass might give you trouble if you tried to print them in a photobook.

Other than the WDW Railroad, what else do you need?

another great idea by Mark..

however an even better idea and less costly, send me a list of needed shots, a 10 day park hopper, gas money..

I'll find my own place to stay, and find a few local models, and provide you with hundreds of pictures....::thumbsup2 :cool1: :thumbsup2

Andy & Mark,
Thanks for the photos and offer! Also for the links to borrow-able photos. I would've never taken a photo without asking. I think people are very nice to share there photos for viewing enjoyment - I would feel funny to take w/o asking. It's not that I want to claim as my own pic, just to help make a memorable photobook -if I were scapbooking I could've used something off the map, etc.

I love looking at the photos on the Dis and wonder why mine don't come out the same :confused3 ;) I have to work on taking MORE photos of different things when we are out. I guess it'll bne easier as my boys get a little older.

The main things I wanted to complete my book are the RR & my other sons favorite ride (not sure right now which one! he changes everytime I ask).

Thanks guys!
Oh, and I'd love to send a personal photographer on a field shoot! Maybe when I hit the lotto!:goodvibes The pics I see here are great, I am sure someone would be willing to pay for your services.
