Stitch's Great Escape

Does anyone know if the Shoulder restraints on the wheelchair seats in Stitch's Great Escape have the motion and other special effects?

I'm too sensitive if they do so I'd have to skip it.

We have not done it in a while, but as far as I know, they do.

Since they are there to give the special effects and not to restrain guests, you may be able to work something out with the CMs at the attraction. I know for DD, we did not pull the shoulder restraint down far enough to actually touch her shoulders.

The last time we did this attraction a lady in line told the CM that she was afraid to have the harness ( or what ever you call it) pulled down because she had shoulder issues. The CM said it was no problem and when everything was getting ready he came to the side of her chair and did something so that the shoulder part never came down. I don't know if this is something they do often, but he did it. Maybe they can help you out.

My kids rode it once about 5 years ago and won't do it again because they didn't like the dark but the wheelchair seats harness didn't have motion set up.

It does have "special" effects on it (bouncing, air effects) and the first time I found it extremely uncomfortable. What I did was put my hands up high above my shoulders and waited until it locked, no problem. I returned my hands up during another sequence where the harness could move again and relock, but I've been on it enough times to know the timing.

I've toured with others who have had young kids and they've spoken to CMs who have done something to the harness so that it didn't lower- they spoke to the CMs as their group was entering the third chamber, and sat in the back row so as not to block the view of others.
