My little guy LOVES Stitch. Is the show too scary for a toddler?? (2 1/2 years old). I have not read much about the show because I want it to be a surprise, but now I am concerned about the show being too scary. Of course, this is regarding the kids who watches Jurassic park and does not get scared, he loves it.

No! From what folks have posted here, you are in total darkness for periods of time and you are sort of "clamped down" in your seat. People said lots of parents with small kids were hightailing it out of the theater with the kids hollering. Doesn't sound fun to me! Seems like they could have made this a cute ride for the little ones, not a scary one.

I think it would be frightening for a 2 year old.

It gets very dark and loud, and at one point, when it is dark, Stitch does things that you can feel. Some kids will scream, which may also frighten.

My 6yo cried. She said later she liked it, and would go on again, but during the show, she was very scared, and cried.

This is from the WDW website about the Stitch attraction.

Category: Mild But Wild Thrills
Land: Tomorrowland®

This attraction has FASTPASS.

Additional Information

This attraction may be frightening for children.

I would suggest you use the babyswap 1st. You or someone else go in, then determine whether or not you want to bring the baby in.

Seems there is always a scared kid screaming and crying in TTBAB and Philaharmagic. (Loud noises, dark, etc)
At least in those attractions, guests can leave if they have to, or stand near the back of the room.
As someone stated in SGE, you are pinned down in a chair at your shoulders.
Just like AE, some kids would be afraid. Some would love it. If in doubt, I would pass.

When we went to see it there were a couple of parents who got up and exited with their kids during the "show". I think the main thing that is scarry to little ones is the darkness. If you sit close to the exit which is on the opposite side from where you enter you could leave if you needed to. Another tip we were given is to sit up tall when the harness comes down that way you can get out if you need to. If you decide to try it you can hold his hand and warn him that it will get completely dark for a little while.

NO!!!! My son took my 8 y/o GD on this ride in January. She loves Stitch and handled everything else that week just fine, including all the roller coasters and 3-D shows, (well she didn't really like 'A Bug's Life,' but at least she didn't cry during it). Anyway she screamed throughout the show 'he's got me, he's got me'. Unfortunately both she and my son were locked into their seats too well. He couldn't get to her to help her. He said every kid in there was screaming and crying, which of course only made her worse. She still likes Stitch, but now says he's mean.
