Okay -- We finally went through the Stitch attraction last night.
I never minded Alien Encounter -- except I hated the part they fried ol' Skippy.
The line looked long, but seemed longer than it actually was. We got in line as one group was going in. And we just made it in with the next entering group.
Unfried Skippy is still there. Another experiment is there too.
Then guests enter the seating area. Not much has changed visually.
Of course there is Stitch, the odor, Stitch spitting at guests, and the smell being pumped in is after Stitch has stolen a chili dog and burps.
The plasma guns react now and then, and L&S fans will recognize some alien characters who are shown on TV monitors reacting to the chaos.
I find it odd Disney uses the name Stitch when all this is suppose to be before Lilo. Stitch even calls himself Stitch at the end. I think Experiment 626 would have been more fun.
The adults laughed and the kids really seemed to enjoy it.
If you don't want additional spit, don't sit in the front rows. We sat in the back and only got it once.
The odor is not pumped in from overhead. It is right next to your face. And gets pumped in not once -- but twice. (burp)
It was fun. Not a high point of the trip. But fun.

Very cool.
Can't wait. We are going to the AP Preview this weekend.

I've read some posts saying it was scary for small children. What is you impression? I don't want to put my DD-5 on it and ruin her day !! One post compared it to Dinosaur ??? Appreciate your review.

Thanks,
Cheryl

It is my personal opinion that this attraction is still too intense for small children. It is not totally dark as long as Alien Encounter was but it still has total darkness and some loud and scary sounds.

Stitch has great animatronic effects but he is HUGE.

DH and I didn't enjoy this attraction at all. I guess our expectations were too high.
