Stitches Great Escape!!!

Yeah, yeah...you're all expecting another negative thread about our ol' friend Stitch, right?!?
Well this isn't one!!!! I finally got to try SGE and let me tell you, I really enjoyed it! The gross factor was cute and well done and many of the kids who experienced it with us seemed to really like it. I also liked the new forcefield and the lazer guns that fired into the audience. I did notice though that most of the kids on the attraction were around 8-10 years old and there weren't many younger kids, probably because of warning that they have heard of the ride being in the dark and alittle intense. While SGE is very similar to AE and WDW just tinkered with an existing ride, I think that SGE is an upgrade over Alien Encounter, which had nothing to do with Disney or their characters.
O.K. Stitch naysayers, bring it on!!!!!

Our DD loved this ride. It has now become her favorite. Mom and Dad thought it was just OK, but after all it is the kids that count most!!

just got back-wife and I did/nt get it; DD(7) got it but hated it. Spend your tomorrowland time on Buzz and the classics Carousel and Timekeeper(if open)

BTW, did you see in the latest issue of Disney Magazine - they have a pix of the castle on the day Stitch's Great Escape opened. Stitch TP'd the castle and added some graffitti - "Stitch is King." Real cute!

I loved AE when it was around and was sad to see it go. I am happy to finally read a positive review about Stitch! I hope we could make it out there soon so we could check it out for ourselves (good enough reason to go again I would say - ha ha!)

The 1st time I went on it I did not get it and I hated it! After a few more times it is one of my faves in TL. I just hate the chilli dog burp smell! Yuck!!

We rode it for the first time today...we thought it was terrible...well actually, we kept waiting for the ride/show to begin, LOL. I don;t get it...what did you like?? It did nothing except put you in a dark room, spit water once and a puff of smelly air. That was it, it didn't do anything else lol.

We tried AE before, it was OK, abit more things happened than with Stitch.
