Why do they have the overhead harnesses that come down for this attraction? Also, why is there a height limit? Our dd2 was just shy of the limit so we were going to ride switch. They gave us the RS ticket but had dh and dd2 get into the queue with us. We kept expecting a place for them to hop out and wait, but they ended up going all the way through the pre-show and into the ride area. When we saw the harnesses dh got nervous because he thought the room might spin or something. No such luck. Just a hodge-podge of stuff. We did not find this ride to be appealing at all. While it entertained MODERATELY, I certainly wouldn't stress about fitting it into my touring plans ever again! I am so confused as to all the Stitch promotion with such a lackluster ride. I feel bad for big time Stitch fans that were hoping for something more substantial.

My guess is because they know if they didn't, people would get up and walk out since the attraction is so awful.

Don't feel bad - Nobody does.

We waited in line so long for this and were so disappointed! My 3 yr old was wondering what was going to happen, 6yr old was scared to death and 8yr old hated it!

MY DS was SO excited when this opened during our last visit last october We were SO disappointed, what a load of old baloney, :sad2:

The ride used to be very dissapointing...but my family talked to the guy that designed the ride and he said they made him open the ride to early to finish some ideas he had for the ride. They added some more things to the ride to make it better. We saw the ride again and found it was more appealing. It is much better. :teeth: :mickeybar

I just got done watching the Inside Imagineering special that was on the Travel Channel and they talked about the harnesses that come over you in that ride. In this show however the ride was still the Alien Encounter, but we all know that all they did was put Stitch in his place. The harness come down over you because there are speakers placed inside of it. Inorder for the sounds to have the appropriate effect on you, (they came up with some new form that is supposed to reallye effect you I guess), these speakers need to be as close to your ears as possible :0) Plus, I would imagine that being in a restraint also keys up your senses to what is going to be happeing to you.
