Stitch or Alien Encounter?

We haven't done Stitch yet. We'll give it a try when we go this time since the kids love him. My dh and I thought AE was great and he's a little bummed that it's not there now. I'm sure dh and I will probably be wishing that it was still AE.

We loved the Stich one, just kinda liked the Alien Encounter. I'd much rather be made to laugh than be scared! Our daughter loved Stich and wanted to go a few times. I think the reviews are pretty hard on this one.

I never experienced Alien Encounter, but I thought Stitch was terrible.

My DH and DS didn't care for either one.

Alien Encounter most definitely!! This is the only ride that made me break down and cry.

I actually enjoyed AE a lot. I know it doesn't rank with any of the mountains...haunted mansion, etc. But is was a fun thing to do, especially when it's about 100 outside, it's so nice to sit in the cool dark theatre. I hated stitch. I thought it was ********. After my mom and I went on it we looked at each other and "is that it?" I hope it's a temporary thing and they replace it with something more creative.

I liked Alien Encounter a lot more than Stitch. I really miss the old Skippy act. The poor little guy pretty much gets the shaft in the new Stitch version. I also miss the Alien Encounter Merchandise: the shirts, the alien toys, the rubber Skippy puppets, the stuffed Skippys... good theme-park-original stuff that you could only buy at the shop there.

Alien Encounter was great!

I don't suppose it really belonged in MK though, even with all the warnings some parents would take their kids in and the kids would leave shaking!
It could have been moved to the Studios and would have fit in well there.

"Stitch" is not scary, funny, or enjoyable. It just doesn't seem to have any theme, except to make $$$ at the gift shop.

Alien Encounter 100%. I have been on the Stitch ride only 1 time & I thought it was the biggest piece of garbage ever. I like Stitch as a character but I hated his ride. After going on it I said why did they get rid of Alien Encounter?

agree

We have never been on the Stitch ride and are wondering what it is like. We have a DD who is 5 and a DS who is 3. Would this ride be good for them?

I liked Alien Encounter. I liked the humor and the "scares". The story was much more entertaining. I would go on it once or twice during each visit to WDW.

Stitch is just WAY too dumbed down.... I did not enjoy it and will not go on it again.

DH and I loved Alien Encounter!!! We were so bummed when they closed it. We did not take our children on it however. It was pretty scary for the little ones. It was soooo dark!!! I remember putting my hand in front of my face and I couldn't see it.

We have been on Stitch one time and that was enough!!! As much as I like Stitch the character, the attraction stinks and I mean literally. That burp smell stayed with me for the rest of the day. I was almost sick from it. I could not get rid of it until we went to DTD that night and I sat in the Ghiradelli shop for a few minutes smelling the chocolate.

We won't be visiting Stitch's Great Escape again!! :sad2:

Bring back Alien Encounter!!!! :thumbsup2

Alien Encounter is my favorite because of how cool it was and how it scared everybody else and I have many fond memories of this ride.
