I have noticed one thing since I started posting on this board.. Stitch has been getting horrible reviews!!! With that being said I know both of them are not very popular but out of the two most recent rides in that building which of the two did you like better?

I think Alien encounter was waaaaaay scary, even for adults. While stitch is a bit lame, my boys (ages 9 & 5) LOVED it.

I have to say we disliked both of them equally. I would never have gone to Alien more than once and I will never go back to stitch. Once is enough for our family with both of these.

Alien Encounter 100%. I have been on the Stitch ride only 1 time & I thought it was the biggest piece of garbage ever. I like Stitch as a character but I hated his ride. After going on it I said why did they get rid of Alien Encounter?

Now, I can't wait to see Stitch again.

I never experienced Alien Encounter so can't compare them.

Oh my goodness your not kidding I was soooo scared! In fact I was scaring the crap out of my poor kids with my screaming, I almost forgot it wasnt real! We were in the front row too! In the end I laughed and laughed at myself, Im glad it was dark and no one could see me cause Im pretty sure I made a huge fool of myself. Still makes me giggle when I think of the way my kids looked at me when the lights came on..

Alien Encounter. Stitch is okay at best, but I liked AE...

waaaaaaaaaaaaay scary? :lmao: you must scare easily :joker: ;)

I think both incarnations are lame and the attraction is a waste of space. Not sure what they could put in there, but IMO almost anything (even extra bathrooms) would be a better use of that space

Alien Encounter was dark humor at its best, unfortunately too many people insisted on bringing in kids who were too young to get it; so they had to dumb it down and bring in Stitch to make it kid friendly.

Can't argue with that. Is that the reason why the attraction closed, or was it just time for something new (like Mr. Toad)?

My husband and I really liked Alien Encounter. Of course, it was 100% better the first ime, when we didn't really know what to expect. Given the surprise factor, I don't think it was an attraction that inspired "Let's do that again..and again...and again...".
We could never have taken our girls to AE though, so I was very happy when it changed to Stitch...until we did it. Lame, lame, lame! And... my girls didn't even like it, not because they were scared, but because there wasn't much to it. Also they didn't like the "yucky" smells! Once was enough for them, and us.

:sunny: Ok, my DH and myself prefer Alien Encounter, it packed much more of a scare!! However my children would go for Stitch! :sunny:

Mr. Toad had been around for a looooooooooong time, Alien Encounter was still fairly 'new'

I choose option 3: Mission to Mars.

Cheesy and outdated, yes; but still quite charming.
