is it only for DLR? or for WDW also? my mom booked a trip for spring 07. If you can can u do it with meals. thats the only thing she didn't book vesides flight.

So far it's still a rumor. The girl who I am still on hold with says VMK does not even have a department where she can call to ask. She thinks they are not an official Disney site game and does not even know about the "booths" that are at the park where you are able to "create a character in the park". I have doubts you will ever be able to get this from making a reservation, they will not be able to give this information to ALL the representatives and Disney staff if you want to request it. That's over 100 people I'm guessing. It was suppost to come out last week, now this week I don't think it will come out this month.

After waiting 30 minutes she FINALLY came back. She refered me to the VMK website. Of course nothing is there besides printing out the tomorrowland quest (which says on the bottom fine print it's expired). Apparently the only thing they "VMK helpers" do in the park is help you get onto the site to play in the booth, give you the codes for doing the quests, and fix the computers in the booths. Most of them she says have no knowledge of things that are not posted on the site.

Is it possible that this is just a rumor, perpetuated to get people to book a trip to WDW or DLR? Not that anyone would be silly enough to book a trip simply for a hat, but from what I've read here, it sounds like it is just not true.

Yesterday I saw the vmk girl character who has the stitch hat. Somebody was asking her how to get the hat, and she replied -- by booking a trip to DLR that included the hotel and tickets "set," which, I assume, means a special package reservation.

Hmm I have, tickets, hotel and air but they still have no Idea what I'm talking about. We have a 1 bdr suite concierge too so it is a special booking.

The host has told me to keep buging the reservation people all the way up to the point that you cant cancel anymore. They will know now or very soon. You get the pin and hat and need to book only through disney for DLR only. I have started a gift tread for those that will find it very tough to get one. the thread on the wish board. So those that are going to DLR and staying at one of the hotels keep buging them.

I have a reservation with DLR for hotel, and tickets and meals. I call about once a week, they still don't know what I am talking about.

When I posted my rant about wishing VMK would give us more information what I mean is why put things out in the game and let the rumors fly. If anyone besides the testers are going to wear them I expect the home page to tell us.

How difficult is it to say something about the Stitch hat how and when it will be given away and do it in advance so people don't have all of these rumors because I cant' tell you how many people are saying a different story.

I happened to be in a room with Yavn about 2 weeks ago and he said it was from booking a trip with Disneyland Travel.

Someone I think it was a tester said it would be starting this week but as of Wednesday, nothing.

As I've said before VMK doesn't have a good connection with Disney. They have no workers to call and answer questions, just the VMK home page with the "Contact us" which you never hear back from for months or days.

The latest rumor is that the code will be mailed to you after booking It was told to me by some one who sold there hats on ebay. As there is no completed listing on ebay i dont know to belive her or not. The reservation people dont know about it but she said it get mailed with your thanks for booking packet. Just wanted every one to know the new info i found.

I was in Red's Mansion earlier today and someone asked her about the stitch hat and she said that you can get it by making a reservation with disney. She didn't say if it was WDW or DLR, but at least we know its not a rumor.

Well it's neither Disneyland nor Disneyworld. I called both reservation companies to see which park it was. They said they only thing they mail to you is the itinerary, tickets and special coupons. They still have no idea what VMK is, so they don't know what this special package is.

There is picture conformation. They might not know it at the reservation place but i bet there mailed to you.

I'm not sure, according to the receptionist who I called back a little while ago coupons are:
Coupons for popcorn, cotton candy, a shirt, a landyard. We also get perfered premium seating tickets. But that is all. I was put on hold for some time, while she asked around everyone and so far this is still just a rumor.

Update, just this moment:
I just recieved my Disney tickets with the "coupons" and there was so stitch code.
