I don't remember there being a height requirement, but I will tell you, if your child is young - definitely NOT a good attraction for them. I'll also tell you, this is NOT one of Disney's better attractions. So disappointing.
a co-worker just got back from Disney, and he told me the same thing about the ride. It was a bit scary, so Disney decided to rework the attraction. He was also a bit disappointed, and said that he expected better. FWIW, he goes to Disney at least twice a year, so I trust his opinion. I will find out in about 4 weeks.
a lot of CMs and guests have told me that Stitch is more disgusting than entertaining. They kinda used all the 4D technology they used in Bug's Life/HISTA and tried to do the same here, kinda failing. I was told that a lot of kids did not enjoy the ride and wanted to leave after just a few minutes...I am very sad that AE is gone, b/c that ride actually freaked me out. I won't know the truth about Stitch until I find out for myself though.
DS7 said "That's it?" (So did I)
DS5, who loves Stitch, enjoyed it.
DD5, who is sometimes afraid of that kind of ride, depending on her mood, hid her face, but was OK.
I brought my 5yo on the ride last month. He likes scary things and wasn't the least bit scared by Stitch. I can't say that he really enjoyed it, but it wasn't a fear thing. As long as your kids are on the brave side and don't mind darkness they should be ok.
