Stinkeye!!! Stinkyeye!!! Stinkeye!!! Stinkeye!!! Stinkeye!!! Stink Eye ! ! !!

And he has seen Charley in our window. Would *you* just open the door? Seriously?

OMG Cat, this guy sounds CRAZAY!!!

It almost sounds like he was hoping he'd get bit or something so he could sue you guys!

I was wrong - not the furnace. The motor in the furnace.

I still have a crinkle between my eyebrows from the shock!!!

Then he takes the motor and leaves with it, to replace it? What? Jim dont like this guy. Being a service guy, he thinks he is a (and I quote) "fruitcake" "looney" and just shady.

SO, he is gone now 'replacing' the motor and Jimmy turns to me and goes, "You gonna be here, when he comes back?"

I go - Im not staying here alone with that guy!!!

He goes - I'm not staying here! That guy is crazy!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Oh, oh, oh, oh.... so when he opens the door, Jimmy goes 'who the *bleep* is coming in my house?' - and this dude goes "dont shoot me!" :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :lmao:

Flipping weirdo.

He is so lucky we were both here. Jimmy went to the door and I held Charley. Crazy crazy man.

Sounds like something more sinister to me. The fact that he wanted Charlie locked up....something sounds fishy. I'd look this guy up and see what you can find. I'd also make a complaint to the landlord - unless this is a longtime friend of theirs and then I'd make a nice suggestion that he handle it differently next time.

I tend to be a worry wart anyway, but this really creeps me out Cat.

Oh, and anytime our furnace guy has checked the freeon levels, he's done it outside around the back of our house. I will say that we've had horrible furnace problems and the co. replaced our motor when I told them all along that it was leaking freeon - about 3 service calls and many new parts later, they finally figured out it was leaking and fixed it  Morons.

I just told Jim.... thank GOD again, he was here. Had he not been here, and the back door just opened up, I would have assumed it was Joey (he gets out of school early) and his friends, messing around with the knocking, NOT held onto Charley, and I'd be looking at a big bloody mess right now.

What an weirdo.

Yeah see I was thinking he might have asked for Charlie to be locked up but then he was gonna go open the door and be all woe is me, I didn't know he was in there, but I think you're right breezy, this does sound even more sinister than that. VERY weird. I wouldn't want to be there when he came back either.

They took our motor with them too - the conspiracy theorist in me likes to think it was because they knew nothing was wrong with it and didn't want to leave any evidence. DH thinks I'm whacky

:rotfl: I love the gun part! When he comes back, drop a hint that the next time he could get shot for just barging in like that :rolleyes1

I'm thinking he was just trying to find some cash on the counter or something, but you never know these days.

Theyre longtime friends, apparently. Jimmy doesnt wanna say anything. They trust this clown to come out, and have for years.

Jimmy is reallllly adament about not being shady with work, kwim? He knows service people who milk it for all it's worth, and he is SO not comfortable with that AT ALL. He told me just last week, he felt bad cuz this old couple called - and you know how on a washer you pull the knob OUT to make it start and you push the knob IN for the washer?

The old woman got confused. :guilty: Poor thing. Jimmy showed her, the mistake - she felt stupid, he acted like he has calls like that all the time (he's had a few, all old people :guilty: ) and made little masking tape stickers - OUT & IN.

Jim works with freeon too. Not in the house!!! Loon.

:yay: Yay Jimmy! It's refreshing to hear stories like that. He sounds like a keeper Cat.

No, you could be right. Jim said he leaves the old part (for this exact reason).

So, Joey came into my room last night - I looked at the clock, it was 12.49am.

And he's crying and upset. He misses my mom. I felt so bad. But I was confused - he woke me out of s-l-e-e-p and I was just confused...kwim?

Joey never REALLY grieved. He cried, but didnt REALLY grieve. I have been waiting for this to happen. I wish it wouldnt have happened at 12.49 and I would have been more sharp as to what to say.

It will be 3 years on 1.28. :sad1:

We dicussed how much it sucked. But again - I was half alseep. I remember saying "How do you think I feel?" Nice, right? But, I was trying to get across I have NO ONE, now. NO one. He knew what I meant - he said "I know"

WHole thing is just sad. Ive been thinking a lot about her lately.

Death sucks.

Cat ~ That is just insane about the service guy! Thank goodness Jimmy is a good service guy! And what he did for that lady...aww...some guys would have been an ****** and just plain rude!
Sorry about Joey. I understand what you mean. My grandma (so I have never been close to my mom, or lived with her, always my gma) died 2 years ago 12/19. It sucks, i never really grieved. I had to do the adult stuff because everyone else couldn't figure it out. But you would think with 12 kids ok so 8 kids that were still/are living they could get it together..
So I understand when you say you have no one.
maybe you can talk to him tonight, when you awake.

Aww, Cat! My mom just lost her mom about 6 yrs ago, and she always says that noone will ever love you the same way a parent loves you, and to not have that anymore is aweful. She doesn't really think back and remember the day Nana died, but she does that with her Dad's anniversary. She lost him when she was about 27. I make sure I call her every year on that day. She's always so sad.

 You're right, death sucks.

Awesome!!! He can Wii with you!!!

Try running this: http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm

It's through MS. If your PC is THAT jacked up though, you might wanna start it in Safe Mode and run it.

It wont hurt anything, either way. I used that all the time at work.

I will try that. But how do I put it in safe mode?

Start > Shutdown > Restart

As the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key" (or keep hitting it) which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" as shown below. Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.

Hi girls. I'm trying to catch up. You guys were busy talking this weekend. I have big news. We made an offer on that house we like last night. Now I have to get my house all clean because we will probably be on the market by weekend. UGH! I hate people walking through my house looking at everything. It's so weird!

:cool1: Congrats! That is awesome! How exciting! Good luck selling your house. I'm dreading the day we decide to do that. We already making changes / improvements in that direction. Keep us posted!

I go - Im not staying here alone with that guy!!!

I wouldn't stay there either. I'm afraid of strangers coming into my house when I'm home alone. There was some crazy cable guy raping & killing women in the Chicago area months ago. I told DH I no longer will take any service calls on Fridays, no way, no how.

So, Joey came into my room last night - I looked at the clock, it was 12.49am.

Awww. That's so sad. Maybe he had a bad dream? Abby is very sensitive and she cries often about the Grandma (DH's Mom) & Papa (my Dad) she never met. She is so close to my Mom that I can't imagine how she will react once she is gone. She even cries sometimes saying she doesn't want to die.

Maybe it's a good thing that he is feeling something.

It's always hard when anniversaries come around. My Dad died when I was 15 and it was on Halloween. I try not to show anything though for Abby's sake since she loves Halloween.

Good luck! My sister's computer has a virus and DH couldn't even run it in safe mode. She gave it to some guy at her work to look at and he said she had 24 different viruses! :scared1:

Glad your kiddo is coming home tonight! :)

OT - I'm so ready to go home. This day is dragging...............
