I just added over 8,000 pictures to my iPod, most of them are of Disney trips. The 8,000 pictures are from five different trips though, not just this one.

Very nice. I never thought about adding them to the iPod - thats a good idea. To be able to show anyone, easily. Smart thinking.

Yeah, I'd been meaning to do it for awhile, but never got around to it. But now a bunch of people want to see pictures from my trip, and this is much easier then dragging around my camera and ten memory cards, and lets me put off editing and printing all my pics.

ETA - And it doesn't take up like any room on the iPod either, the 8,000 pics only used like 5GB of space. Considering I had 70-some odd GB of open space, it didn't take up much room at all.

I turned in my notice and today was supposed to be the beginning of the last two weeks of working there. DH decided he had had enough of his current job that he HATES and I can't say I blame him so we have decided to cut our losses and get the heck out of dodge. But, anyway the budget is so tight at work that they asked me if I wouldn't mind just not working my last two weeks so now I am trying desperately to get our house all packed up without actually lifting anything because I still don't want to hurt myself after the surgery.

Does anyone know/remember if Breezy was going to WDW? I haven't seen her online the last few days. I know she originally planned a vacation in October, but she took it off of her sig line so I just thought it was cancelled.

I think she may be there now. I remember her dates, and thinking her and one of my friends from work would be there the same week, and I know my work friend is there now, so maybe she is too. I'm not sure though.

I took the trip tic out of my siggy to make room for the political stuff. But when all the **** went down with closing our branch - of course we had to cancel our trip. I keep getting this nagging feeling like we're not supposed to go to Disney this year .

We'll be in Florida in Dec. so we'll probably make some day trips, and then my mom rebooked the villa for March 9th thru the 11th. But I REFUSE to make a trip ticker this time - I don't want to jinx it!

Angel, on Chicago! Seriously, I've been praying about your hubby's job. Good for you guys! Sometimes a leap of faith is a good thing.

We love Pump it Ups! There's one in Dublin - the kids always have a blast.

It was kind of nice b/c the kids can run and scream, go wild, but it is sooo big and spread out that it is not loud and annoying for the parents. We had a bowling party last year for her, never again! That little space for those kids, I had a headache within 5 minutes.

Anyway, if you google, Pump It Up, you'll see what it is.........

Cat - When is the window thing? We never did it b/c the weather always seems to be crummy or we just forget. Maybe this year?????

Angel - GET OUT! Where are you going to go? Chicago?

Carolyn - I feel your pain. I just got finished editing my photopass pics. It took me forever! Now I need to print my regular pics and have to go through all those since we took over 900!

I've been to one of those kids bowling parties and couldn't agree more! INSANELY loud! I'm glad you all had such a good time!

I did an internship at an indoor waterpark and had to run all the birthday parties. It wasn't too bad because it was huge so again the noise had lots of places to go!

We're going back to NC. Just not sure where in NC yet. Thats closer to Chicago though! LOL!

I pray that this is one of those times. Before we moved he never took anything but maybe a tylenol or two for a headache. Now he's on 4 different prescription meds for high blood pressure anxiety, you name it and he's only 36. We just can't keep doing this anymore.

NO! You must have a trip ticker - or think about being there, going there, etc. Imagine yourself there. You have to. The power of positive thinking will get you there (or anywhere)

Im tossing aroung the idea of a Jan/Feb trip. I found phenomenal airfare - good dates - the price of the room is good - and for some weird reason, Im not booking it - and I dont know why! No clue why Im hemming and hawing about this. Crap, it's only 4 days - and I have AP's - why dont I just do it???

I'm big into the discernment/gut-feeling thing right now. If you don't have a good feeling about it, maybe you shouldn't book the trip for that time.

900 pictures, for real?!?!? Good heavens!!! LOL! That will cost you an arm and a leg to print!!!

I'll only print 400 or so, hopefully. When Abby goes up to a character, I take like 5-10 pics of her hugging, goofing around, then usually I end up only printing the posed one. I do have some pretty cool Star Wars ones though. Abby got picked at the Jedi Training. She also got picked for Capt. Jack's Pirate Tutorial. She was a lucky one!

By the way, you screwed up me quoting you b/c you wrote in my quote. So, anyways, we did do the Tivoli costume thing before, just never the window painting. You can come with us Although, Abby is not the greatest artist yet so I'll feel sorry for that window.

Almost forgot! Cat - you need to do a drive by my house one night. I have the "chomping" skeleton from Disneyworld in my window.

Pump It Up is in Lisle. There are others around, but Lisle is the closest one. Hard to find, in an industrial building area of 53.

I am so mad at my sister right now! She is living with my grandmother to "help her out." I went over to my grandmother's house, and when I was there I had to help her do my sister's laundry. She isn't supposed to be making more work for my grandmother, who has a lot of difficulty getting around. She's supposed to be making things easier for her, not harder!

There's been a talk. My mom heard what was going on, and she's furious with my sister. So there's more talk of me and my sister switching places, which would be cool with me, but my sister does not want to move back home.

The whole point of her living there was so she could help my grandmother our, and walk to work, (she doesn't drive.) But my dad always goes to pick her up, since she never feels like walking, (I'd understand if it were really late, and she didn't want to walk across town by herself, but this was the middle of the afternoon, and it was a nice day out,) as well as her annoying my mom by always coming home to use the computer, since Grandma doesn't have the internet. My sister could easily at least get the dial-up service my grandmother used to have for $10 a month.

If she keeps this up my mom's going to make us switch places, and I for one, am all for it.

I finally fixed it. I'm sure you all missed me so much right? I signed on and saw that I had no avatar or signature. If I had any tags those probably would have been gone too. Thank goodness I didn't have to have THAT heart attack!
