Actually, we got the answer. DH's friend recently opened his own branch with the very same company. His (the friend's) partner left to go work for a bank on Friday. DH's friend offered him to have us all come over to his branch, and all we would have to do is split expenses with him - the rest is ours to keep.

Talk about an answer to a prayer...... . It's the best thing that could have happened for us. The timing just fell into place. DH's branch shutting down - the partner leaving - the horrible offer from the State Manager - everything fell into place according to God's plan I think. I still don't know if it's the final answer - but it works for now.

We're just sad that a chapter in our lives is closing....and it's a lot of work shutting down the office. But we definately feel blessed.

Thank you. It was an interesting week - like a roller coaster ride. Everything was changing on an hourly basis LOL.

All I can say is.....I prayed a LOT this week .

BTW I let my DD paint her room lime green and orange. OMG!!!!

My kids love that they have a mom who is not afraid of color. As long as it is just paint I let them do whatever they want to their room. $25 removes it whenever I want to! But OMG I did not know it was going to glow in the dark that much. We haven't actually finished it yet, but when we do I will post a picture. Get your sunglasses ready.

Xena - Let's see some pics! We tried to paint our kitchen last year and I was going for a rustic orange. It turned out bright orange! We were blinding our neighbors so we had to paint the entire kitchen again.

Alert, long and boring post!

OK so here is the story on her room. It was a baseball boys room when we moved in. She wanted to paint it light blue (think Cinderella). So we did that. Then about 18 months later she decided she wanted hot pink and purple. We did two walls purple (the other two were still light blue) and my DH finally got interested in taking down our popcorn ceiling. As soon as I saw what a mess it made out of everything I told her we weren't going to even finish her paint until the ceiling was done because we would have to paint over it again anyway. So the ceiling project for the entire basement took about a year! By the time that was done she wanted lime green and orange instead of hot pink and purple, but she wanted different two walls than the combination she had before. So we started with the green, going over one purple wall and one blue one. We have that done, but haven't started the orange yet. So now we have two lime green, one light blue and one purple.

So if you even bothered to read all that you will know that basically what we have right now is UGLY!!!!! So no pictures until we got the orange up!
