I bet the coke slushie would be good with some rum in it. Maybe I'll have to try that the next time I stay at Pop. They sell little bottles of rum in the gift shop, don't they?Ward - That stinks about the slushy machine. That's the reason we buy the refillable mugs too. We like to add a little vodka to the slushies at the pool.Not Abby's, just ours.
Yeah - I like POP too. Out of all the value's POP is my favorite.
But you and I dont have yacht's, Sun. Perhaps our expectations are lower.
It must be true. I have a yacht as you all know, and I do not like the POP either. Movies is ok, music is ok....otherwise I need middle tier or more
I stayed at POR my first trip and I didn't think it was worth the $ over POP. I can't imagine staying deluxe just b/c of the price difference. I'd rather go on 2-3 vacations per year and stay at POP vs. taking 1 vacation and staying deluxe.
P.S. I leave for Vegas this weekend! WOOOHOOO!

I told him Saturday night. We went out to dinner and I sprung it on him. I gave him a b-day card with a copy of the itinerary.
The conversation started with:
"Don't freak out, okay."
He's excited to go, but he said I was right that he would have been like No way if we would have discussed it b/c of the amount of stuff we have going on right now. It is going to be a stressful week! I've been sneezing all day. I better not get sick!

). Well after his translations, the cast member told DH about how WDW is ALWAYS looking for bi-lingual cast members. That's sounding pretty good right now expecially when I'm sitting in sub zero weather. I wonder what they pay interpreters? 
The last 2 times we went to WDW we stayed offsite. I guess I figured that staying onsite should have made it even more magical. It felt very second class with all the broken machines--frozen coke machines, pressed penny machines, arcade machines, change machine, vending machine ate my money. The hair dryer went up in a puff of smoke too. Thank god I didn't need to use the iron, no telling what might have happened then. Oh and we had the fire alarm go off for about 20 minutes one day- never did find out why it was going off.
Um, maybe you should pm the people who's address you are still looking for. I know it would be awkward to send an address to you and you didn't mean it for everyone (hint hint).

Im sure most of us have seen the lightning fast reflexes of President Bush. I laugh everytime it comes on. Thank God for DVR, cuz we've been frame by framing it, and adding sound effects too - just cracking up. He was so quick.

Someone on another thread made the comment that they would have loved to see him pick up the shoe and throw it back at the guy. Now THAT would have been great!!!
My aunt had stayed there several times before (she went with us) and said it was never that bad before either. It was so bad that she and my uncle cancelled their reservations for March and changed them to a different WDW resort. Hopefully these are isolated incidents and POP will get their act together. The rooms themselves were nice and clean.
Don't rub it in about the warm weather. I'm at work so I can't pull up a stink eye right now, so this will have to do.

Seriously though, I hope the shoe thrower gets jail time. That was NOT freedom of expression, that was attempted assault on a head of state.
That being said, I still ran to WalMart in one of those Terry Cloth Track suits.... with no coat.
Dont get sick! Seriously - take a multi-vitamin, daily - with extra Vitamin C and start eating garlic like mad. I promise you wont get sick.
. I guess better now than Friday, although I'm sure I'll still have it on Friday. Stinks b/c I have to do this week and being sick isn't one of them.
