Stingray on CC worth it?

We have Stingray City scheduled for Grand Cayman. Is it worth it to also do the stingray swim on CC?

I wouldn't do both. The stingray experience on CC is a more controlled environment - very shallow water, calm, smaller stingrays that swim onto a platform to be fed, and even their barbs are trimmed. Our last cruise, I showed DS (6 at the time) a YouTube video of Stingray City and he was too scared to go (too many stingrays and too big I think). Then I showed him a video of it at CC and he was okay with trying it, so that's what we did.

If you can do Stingray City, I'd just do that. It looks very cool!

We did the one on CC in August. It was really not worth it. Water was a bit murky and there was very little interaction with the stingrays. I have heard/read that the one on Grand Cayman is great so I'd skip CC in favor of that.

We had the stingray one scheduled at GC, but it got cancelled the night before due to rough seas. We were then able to book the one at CC, there were a lot of times to do it. If I were you, I'd book the one at GC. Like others have said the one at CC was OK, but nothing great.

I did the feeding stingray with my girls (6, and 5) and they loved it.. they are usually very shy and this worked well for them since it was in a controlled environment, my girls still talk about this experience all the time and was a highlight for them.

DD and I have done both...when she was 6 we did the interaction at CC. It was very gentle and she loved it.

Later, when she was 12 we did Stingray City (I've been there several times before) and she loved it but was older, more confident in the water and taller

That said, if it's just you (as an adult) I'd vote for Stingray City on GC only.

We, in general, find the excursions on CC overpriced compared to what you get for similar experiences elsewhere. Disney seems to know how to bring their mark-ups to everywhere.
We did a walk, beach, kayak excursion on CC this last trip that was pricier than any of the comparables at other ports (but we were looking for more "do something" activities than beach activities) and it was a bit of a dud.

I'm currently researching excursions for our trip and I have come across great reviews for Stingray City in GC.
