Could anyone, who has done the stingray excursion sidetrip on the cruise, please advise me if you enjoyed it and was it worth it? I've read pros and cons about it in guide books - such as too many people, water was unclear to see the rays, as the sand was kicked up too much, and too long a trip to get to the sandbar?? I'd appreciate any info, as I thought this would be a great side trip for my older teens to do...

Thanks!!

We did it and loved it!! Used Captain Marvins who was fantastic, only about ten of us on the boat. The water was clear as can be and the trip out to the sand bar not terribly long. We stopped at the barrier reef to snorkle first. It was one of the coolest unique experiences I have ever had!

Captain Marvin's was great! Only about 11 on our boat. Guides were very attentive and we had a blast. Better prices than the DCL excursion.

Have a great cruise!

We are going to venture with Captin Marvin this coming week.
I am glad to hear that we chose a good excursion.
We are really looking forward to this trip!
