I just called Disney Cruise Line Excursion Desk and they don't know anything in comparison with the members of this Board.

I was trying to figure out the difference between two of the stingray tours.

What is the difference between: "Stingray City Snorkeling and Discover Cayman Tour" and "Island Tour and Snorkeling with Stingrays".

I was told by the excursion desk that there wasn't any difference except they are provided by two different tour companies, but I thought I remember a difference in the size of the boats.

Please help!

Thanks!

What we were told is that "Island Tour and Snorkeling with Stingrays" breaks you down into smaller groups. I heard this at the excursion talk, and the presenter said that because of this, families often prefer that one. We had pre-booked it, and the groups really were pretty small. We were broken down into vanloads for the island part, and you also went to the stingrays with the same people from your van. We went on a small boat with a tiny restroom on the boat, and they also provided sodas. The group was small enough to allow our guide to help us feel the rays, hold them for photos, coax in reluctant kids, etc.
