Stingray City questions

Are there different places to do this? One things lists a sandbar, another says 4 feet of water. I'm so confused. Is there just 1 place to see the stingrays and snorkel with them, or multiple places in Grand Cayman?

Stingray City is one place. It is a sand bar that is in about 4 feet of water. Tide can change so the depth of the water will change at times.

Stingray City as it is known is really the sandbar. How deep the water is really depends on where your skipper anchors his boat and also the water conditions of the day. We went last May and the water was about chest high on me and I'm 5'6".

It is a great experience not to be missed.
