One simple question so that I understand this correctly: Under past stimulus packages, we got a check. My understanding of the new stimulus credit is that beginning in June, you'll see more money in your paycheck. No lump sum check. Is this correct?

There is also a $250 credit geared mainly toward retirees

Provides a one-time payment of $250 to Social Security beneficiaries, railroad retirees and veterans receiving benefits from the Veterans Affairs department. State government retirees not eligible for Social Security would also get the $250 payment.

I wish we could check off a box to give it to someone else who could use it more than us... like an opt out. I would rather some single Mom with 2 jobs get it.

A single mom with two jobs would get the credit since she has a job, right?
Personally I don't want the credit if it's gonna cost me in higher taxes which it's certain to do.
The money for this plan isn't going to come from nowhere. I've got a strong feeling it is going to come from my pocket and the pockets of others just like me. And we aren't rich, we're so far from rich that it's not funny.
