STILL waiting... slow Disney payoffs?

I sent my closing payment and docs more than two weeks ago and still haven't closed. Just heard from the closing agency and they say Disney hasn't done the final payoff yet. I've never heard of this happening - has anyone else?

they are selling AKV - pretty easier- not to mention SSR.

resalers have to wait.

be patience - it should be no more than a month. I think 4 to 6 weeks is the time for resalers.

See, that's my frustration - at this point, it's been over 2 months total, 3 weeks since I sent a check for the total cost. It was scheduled to close 4/30, but my closing agent said Disney's yet to make the payoff. From what I've read on the DIS, this seems highly unusual, no? Makes me wonder if something went wrong. Plus, I need to book my Aug. and Dec. stays - it's not looking good.

We bought threw Disney and our closing was scheduled 4/26 and we're still waiting also my DW call MS yesterday and they stated they're very busy and running behind!!

we are in the same boat....we are buying a SS resale and sent our money and closing docs a few weeks ago. The seller, who is slower than a slug, still hasn't finished his paperwork (even though the closing date is listed as today). I don't understand how he doesn't have to have everthing in by the clodsing date. The title company said that the date doesn't really mean much. I am so frustrated. I wish I had bought directly through Disney. The 3 thousand we saved does not seem to be worth all the aggravation. We want to schedule a trip for October and now I am getting nervous. We have made all of our ADR's for a trip that is not even booked yet.
It seems that even after all the paperwork is done, it will be a while to get our points bc disney has been so slow. If I only knew then what I know now.....

My seller was extremely slow as well. I contacted TSS and they contacted the seller and got the ball rolling. I would contact your agent and see if they can light a fire.

Hi again - I FINALLY got the message that it closed!

I do feel better knowing it wasn't jsut me, and that Disney's even having a hard time keeping up with their own. Thanks for chiming in all!
