Becca good luck on the purging. After the hurricane and losing all that stuff you realize you really don't need it. I had a garage sale once and only once in my life. I couldn't believe how cheep the people wanted my wares. If something is only a dollar do you really need it for a quarter. I actually felt better about donating all the leftover stuff to a charity than giving it to someone for 25cents. Is this your first one or do you have them often?

Mel you are closer to the mouse than me. I'm about double your miles at 632. So I'm guessing it takes about 4 to 5 hours for you. It's actually a 10 hour drive from here, add one hour for the time change and another hour for gas, eating and bathroom breaks. Twelve hours ...............it's all good.

Bex-- I love having yard sales, but I have been banned from having them. No one ever comes (we live in a weird corner) so it's too much work to take everything out there & bring it back in again.

Hi everyone else!

Nope, house is not on the market yet. 3-4 weeks maybe? Got the estimates back for counter & front doors, so as soon as those are finished I'll call the realtor. Still have some minor things, like powerwashing the decks, etc...

Ryan is freaking me out a little. Keeps waffling about moving, joking (or maybe not?) about quitting his job and moving us to Kenya. WTH? He's so stressed out, and he's not a person who is good at handling stress.

Anyway... I just had a neighbor walk up to me as I was loading Riley into the car for school. She actually told me she didn't want us to sell because she doesn't want the value of her house to fall. Umm.... sure lady. WE are the reason your house is worth so much less these days. Riiiight. And, we'll stick around in this money pit of a house for a few more years, juuuuuust for you. Does she think we WANT to sell our house for $100,000 less than we asked 2 years ago?

Went to Melting Pot with a much nicer neighbor last night. The food was excellent, but we had the worst server I've ever had. Apparently, he was told he could leave, but then got the news that he had one last table--- us. He actually told us all of this, and was slamming things around, complained to us that another table left him a 4% tip. Gee.... I wonder why that happened? I was tempted to poke him with my fondue fork.

Off to take a walk, the work on the house some more. Hope y'all have a happy hump day!

12 hours isn't bad.

When we did universal in Feb, it was a 5 hour drive. So to Disney, it will probably be about a 5.5 hour drive. I'll find out for sure come September. I'll just be glad to have a car at Disney again since I find it so much easier having a car to use, especially since we like to eat at different hotels.

Good morning, Sassies! Round two of conferences today. No knockout punches yesterday - maybe it's because I brought then chocolates to eat while we chatted. Chocolate fixes everything!

What's on tap for all of you this weekend? Barney and I leave for NC tomorrow for his end of season meet. Two weeks off from the pool in April - woohoo!

QOTD - What is your favorite Charlie Brown special? I'd have to say the Thanksgiving one for me. It's hard to beat the Christmas one, but Snoopy's fight with the foldiing lounge chair and popcorn for Thanksgiving dinner definitely win out for me. What about you?

I would pay good money (or perhaps a few tasty chocolates) to see you poke your server with a fondue fork.

I'm sorry about Ryan. Mr. FofP was the same way when we lived up there and that's why we live here. Even now,when we are driving up through there for a visit or something, I begin to see the veins pop out in his head just when we hit 66. It's a stressful place!

QOTD: Halloween special for me, I just love how everyone else gets gum and CB gets a rock. Makes me roll everytime! I am a huge Peanuts fan, I have charms I used to wear everyday of the Snoopy and Woodstock. I almost got a Woodstock tattoo, but decided against it at the last minute. It made me very sad that Charles Schultz died on my birthday, it made me cry and I remember exactly where I was when I heard the news.

I'm with Tricia-not a huge Charlie Brown fan. But I always watched It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown when I was little, so that's probably my fave.

I'm pleased to announce we found a coffee table for $308!! We had to order it, but that's OK. I probably should've said that there are a TON of coffee tables out there at good prices, but I didn't really like them. I guess I'm kinda picky!!

Last night our wireless router died so horror of horrors we actually had to take our laptops into our office and plug them in to get online!! I know you're wondering how we survived such a catastrophe. It was tough, but we managed. Actually the nightmare has been trying to get our new router to work. I guess our laptops don't have the latest wireless technology like the router does, so I have to try and "tweak" them to get it working. What I really wanted to do at 9:00 last night was throw them all out the window. SSID...WEP...WPA it's like a freakin' foreign language!

I need a hunk day pic to prepare for my upcoming computer/router battle.

Good Friday Morning Sassies!

Angie thanks for the eye candy. I watched him on Passions and I really like him now on Days. I'm rooting for him and Sami to get together and raise baby Grace together.

So what's happening today my sassy friends. I think it's going to be a lazy day for me. I woke up around 3:30 this morning and just couldn't go back to sleep. I'm on my second cup of coffee but it doesn't seem to be doing the trick just yet.
