Still Sassy after all this time!

Good Morning Sassies. Let's get this thread rolling again.

Yesterday I just didn't get on the computer much. Not sure why :confused3 but this :laundy: might have been part of it. I was still playing catch up from being away over the weekend. My laundry baskets are almost empty which makes me a happy camper. :thumbsup2

Judi and Becca are you still snowed in? We've been using the air conditioner for almost a week now. Sure sign of a hot summer to come. :sad2:

Happy Hump Day! Judi we need our hot fire fighters.

I hope all you sassies are doing well. It makes the mom in me very nervous when you don't check in. Come back. :flower3:

ETA~Thanks Judi...........you posted right before me.................great picture!

Good Morning, Sassies.
I'm working from home now :surfweb: in my jammies
Not sure I could ever go back :scared1:

Kimmy that must be so nice. Are you a coffee drinker? What could be better? Dising in your jammies with a nice hot cup of coffee. Good times. :thumbsup2

Yes, Tricia

I still have snow and more on the way today  With the winds at 45mph, I'm trying to direct my house to fly south.

Keep an eye out, Michigan will be coming with no sox, Ohio with toe sox:thumbsup2

Come on down because we are quite warm here. We should hit 80 degrees today. :sad2: Too early, way to early for that.

Good morning, Sassies! It's conference day for one of my classes, so I am suiting up in my bulletproof vest. Last year we were completely blindsided by a few parents so this year I am not taking any chances. Oh, and I am bringing with me a box of chocolate doughnuts. Who can be a jerk with doughnuts around?

Hi, Angie! Long time no chat! I had no idea that coffee tables were so expensive! Believe it or not, we have had success buying furniture online. Many will return ship free if you don't like the product, but I have always been pleasantly surprised. Poor Sholow! I had a dog rip his dew claw out once and it was awful. Wally sends his condolence, along with a divebombing invitation to play when Sholow is recovered!

Congratulations, Kendall! Tricia, how did Colin's draft go?

Judi, politely tell the snow that it is no longer welcome. Well brought-up snow will know it's place and move elsewhere without a fuss. So Says Emily Post!

Shannon - is your house on the market? Enjoy the spring weather today. You too, Bonnie!

Gotta run and get the doughnuts. Hi to all in Sassyland!:cool1:

Congratulations, Kendall! Tricia, how did Colin's draft go?

Thanks for the congratulations...........she's one proud kid.

Mark said that Colin did well on Saturday. It basically means the better kids will play on the American League and everyone else will play on the National League. Which ever he gets he'll still have fun. Mark on the other hand is really hoping for the American Legue (like last year) because he will be coaching. I'm really looking forward to baseball starting up again. Even though most of my Saturday's are spent at the park I miss it when it's off season. Colin does play baseball in both the Spring and Fall League's so it comes and goes quite quickly.

How are the boys doing with their swimming? Good luck with the parents today. :scared:

Iced coffee for me this morning. I'm not usually a coffee drinker but well, I didn't sleep well last night & I had to wake up early to bring my car to the shop since the brakes were squeeky.

Dunkin Donuts just isn't as good down here though :(

Angie - Sorry about your coffee table shopping troubles. Thats crazy you can't find anything really nice for under $1000.

Tricia - Yay for having all your laundry done!

Kimmy - Oh jammie work is so much fun.

Sorry about your car troubles.

What part of the country are you from? When you said "down here" I'm thinking you might be by me down south.

Macon, GA now. We're 336 miles from the Mouse :)

Mornin Mel

Want snow?

We actually got snow on March 1st. Puppies loved it.

Now its a wonderful 85 degrees in the afternoon & I can drive around with my top down. It makes me happy. In MA, I never had the top down on the drive home because a 40 minute commute at 75 mph hurt my face, but an 8 minute commute isn't so bad.

Good morning Sassies! I'm checking in from under my pile of garage sale wares. I have been cleaning out every room to purge the excess stuff. It's amazing what we have accumulated that is no longer needed. Especially the boys toys, anything they don't play with is going! We had lots of rain here yesterday and then the wind started about 1am, I know this because we were driving home from Detroit at that time and the rain stopped and the wind started. Brian did not enjoy that drive, but the Red Wings won and a good time was had by all!

Congrats to Kendall! :cheer2:

Judi, Mike Rowe will be in the Soo next week. Road trip?

Meli, congrats on the house! I bet you are excited!!

Kimmy, yeah for working from home!!! Do you find yourself distracted at all or can you focus on work? I think I would be sneaking off to do household tasks.

Angie, drat on the coffee table. We are coffee tableless, but I miss one sometimes. Poor Showlow, Speck sends his good thoughts since last week he had an abcessed tooth and had to be subjected to a teeth cleaning. You would have thought he was having a leg amputated, big baby!

Wilma, good luck with in the conference trenches! It always amazes me when parents blame the teacher and it is never their fault their child isn't doing well. I think it would be the worst part of being a teacher.

Bonnie, feeling better?

Shannon, how long before the house is on the market? Are homes selling there pretty good? I'm looking for tile for the kitchen backsplash, I know what I want I just can't find it! Our house is 8 years old now and I'm ready to update some things.

Julie, I'm impressed that the sleepover boys lasted till 4 am!

Alright Sassies, the kitchen cabinets are calling my name and I have to make carmel corn for the swim banquet tonight!
