Still on after you log off?

I have been noticing recently that when I get off of BellHop and get on another character, BellHop is still on and doesn't go away for a while. I usually hit the exit the game button, but sometimes I just press the X. I have found that either way my character still remains online. Does this happen to anyone else?

This happens to me a lot also. I hope VMK fixes this bug (if it is indeed a bug), because my friends and such get mad at me because I won't talk to them, even though I'm not even logged on. So now I made a room called 'afk' and go in there every time I log out just in case I stick.

This does happen to me sometimes. I notice it because I log off and then go upstairs to watch my brother play and he tells me "I thought you signed off"....Its really annoying.

happens to me too. my mate msgd me on msn saying she was standing next to me in vmk but i was ignoring her! lol

I have been trying to go into my "Away" room set on Myself only before logging off. I accidentally left myself in an open room the other night and found out much later that Aengus had come to visit at least 10 or 15 minutes after I had signed off.

Of course he just figured I was ignoring him.

Good, glad i'm not the only one this happens to. I guess i'll just have to get into an afk room like the rest of y'all do. People think i'm ignoring them as well.

Yep, happens to me all the time. If I am logging out of a mule I will boot myself or if I am leaving my sister's or daughter's rooms, (or anybody I know) I ask them to boot me if I am still there after a slow count to ten.

Yes, happens to me ALL the time. I would have friends messaging me like crazy on why I am not talking to them.
So I am as well, in the habit now of just making myself "not in any room" and hit the red X button to log off the game.
This way my avatar is not in any room, to where friends or others think I am ignoring them
I still get messages, but get to them the next time I am in the game. Friends understand that I simply was logged off at the time they sent them
