Still no word on when the CP packages can be reserved?

Can you use the Dining Plan for the CP package? :confused3

According to the information posted on www.wdwinfo.com you can use one table service credit for the CP package, and that's what it's always been in the past. Of course, we'll know for certain on Monday when they start booking.

I have never done the package before. Do you get three courses for that price, I would hope so!!

Yes, it includes appetizer, soup or salad, your entree, dessert, and a non-alcoholic drink. Tip and tax are not included in that price.

Does the reservation have a credit card guarantee, and if so, is a cc still required if you're on the DDP?

I have always been asked to give a credit card number when I've booked it, even on the dining plan.

I'm a bit confused. So it includes BOTH app. and dessert as well and entree?

If we are paying OOP do we pay for the package at booking like CRT or do you just put a CC down for a guarantee in case you don't cancel within 48 hours?

You still have to give a credit card, because they charge you if you no show. Then when you do show, it's deducted from your meal plan.
And if you want the full course meal, go with Garden grill, since it's already a buffet, and it's a character meal as well.
I did it last year on christmas day and had the absolute best time of my life with dale.

I also didn't have a problem getting the reservation a month or so later when I changed it from the 24th to the 25th.
Just remember if you're coming in earlier in the month, you dont have to do with dinner package because you can usually get a good seat in stand-by, but it will not happen with Gary on Christmas, two years ago I waited through two shows and the pouring rain...

That is a big price increase!:faint:

Also does anyone know if you can use your DDE card for a discount on the package?

Hoping for Tutto Italia on the 18th Dec.:thumbsup2

DDE discount was not available for the package last year. Between that and the holiday pricing surcharge on buffets led us to go with the DDP last year.

Thanks SandrA9810!

But what if we aren't on the DDP? What if we want to pay OOP? Is that just a CC guarantee right now or payment in full?

If we want to make the earliest showing without paying for the CCP during the second week in December is it possible without standing in line for two hours?

I am guessing the weekends are usually booked solid regardless of how early in Dec?

do you have to wait and book within the 180 days of your desired show?

No...Or not in the past anyway...you can book when they go on sale even if it is beyond 180 days.

Excuse my stupidity but what exactly is the CP package?:rotfl2:

Candlelight Dinner Package...You eat a meal at a restaurant of your choice (from the list) in Epcot...Then you get a special entry pass to sit in special seating at the Candlelight Processional...This means you are assured you will get a seat for the show...Sometimes the seats are terrific and sometimes you will be very off center and toward the back if you arrive late on a busy evening...You are paying to be given a seat at the show, to avoid some very long lines (although sometimes the package line can also be long), and you are seated toward the front (in most cases)....

When we went we went mid-week...We were not too far left of center stage, had no line to get our seat, we arrived about 15 minutes before the show started and were seated right away, and we were about 15 rows back....It is okay not be in the first few rows because the stage and show is very big and it easy to see almost everything...The only you won't see well if you are not up close is the narrator.

Do you mean Gary Sinise? He's not on the list for this year. Edward James Olmos is listed for Christmas.
