Still no tickets from Virgin!!!! *THEY HAVE ARRIVED*

We have been patiently (or is that impatiently!) waiting for our tickets. We really did expect them to arrive Friday or Saturday of last week, but NO!!!! And nothing today either!!!!! DH rang Virgin today, and spoke to someone in their Indian Call Centre, who spoke to someone in their dispatch department, who said that they would be with us by Wednesday guaranteed. They better come then and no later, as it's only a week from Wednesday until we go, if anything needs to be amended!!!! Not very pleased with Virgin on this count!!!!
 
Why not check online and see what it says, they are often sent out about 14 days before departure.

Ours only arrived about 10 days before we went in September :)

When we got them through they it has the date they are printed on them and they were printed in August about 3 weeks before we got them :rolleyes:

BTW I will not speak to anyone in their Indian call centre now - they do not know what they are talking about! :sad2: Uk based staff however cannot be more helpful :thumbsup2

Just checked and our tickets arrived 23 days before we travelled in June! I was so surprised when I saw them on the doormat.

dont worry you will get them ok - we got ours 10 days before and i ripped the ticket taking them out of that stupid glued folder (so be careful!) on that afternoon i phoned to check if they would be ok and they said that they would send replacements and i got them 2 days later (day 8 on count down).

How exciting not long to go - i know what you mean though i was anxious to tick that off my list :thumbsup2
 
I have flown many times with Virgin when I have never received tickets, all you need is your booking number and they will give you your tickets when you check in.
 
We keep checking the website every day and it still says 'tickets not sent'. We were hoping that maybe they had been sent out before this was updated. Well, hopefully we'll have them in our grubby little paws on Wednesday!!!!!!

I have just checked the virgin website, and our ticket status is now showing 'tickets sent 16 October'. At last!!!!!!!!! Going to ring DH, he will be pleased!!! :thumbsup2

Whoo-Hoo :woohoo: Loads of companies seem to have narrowed the window they use for sending tickets. I guess they think if there are any mistakes they can be replaced at the airport.

I can relate, mine turned up on Friday so that was 8 days before travel, I kept checking the site too for ticket status, don't worry, they'll be with you in the morning :thumbsup2
 
YES!!!!!!!

They have arrived in the post this morning!!!!! DH rang me at work and he is checking them, but everything looks ok!!!

Roll on next Wednesday!!!!!!! :banana: :banana: :banana:
