I mostly miss the first day when they gave you the folded sheet with all the cruise highlight info. That was especially helpful for first time cruisers to be able to look thru. The everyday navigator info I don‘t mind looking thru the phone app.
The last time I emailed DCL about a request I suggested that they at least provide a paper navigator on day 1 with highlights of the cruise--show and movie schedules for the week, etc. They acknowledged my suggestion, lol, that's about it. We need everyone to suggest it... maybe we can bring it back like the All Hands on Deck plate.
+1 miss the paper navigators. I'd be fine with them being on-demand only (vs putting them in every room when a lot will just get tossed) but that layout was so much nicer to look at than trying to scroll through the endless lists in the app.
Or even how about putting monitors throughout the ship so we could view activities there rather than on the small phone screen? My poor eyes struggle with that phone!
Me too! My nightly routine after returning from the clubs would be to sit out on the veranda for a bit, then when I got into bed I would grab the navigator and go over everything for the next day. I miss that!
I agree with everyone 100%. I didn't even mind having to go to GS to get one when they stopped delivering them. I also liked being able to skim through the one they gave at check in while waiting to board. I don't want to be looking at a screen all day while on vacation. I like the app for completing the muster drill but that's about it. I'd rather go back to being able to shut our phone off and throw it in the safe. That was the best part.
