I'm glad that somebody is joining us. I was beginning to think it was going to be an empty cruise. We got our docs today. The nice lady in brown brought them and a cookie for my Dane. (He loves her a lot.)
Anyways, my party is myself (f, 30) my mom (53), my sis (25), and my goddaughter (almost 11). We'll be arriving in Orlando on Saturday night as we are from California.
Our DD is almost 9. We just told her about the cruise today. We were trying to keep it a surprise, but 3 different people asked last night whether we were going on the Disney cruise in front of her. So we decided to tell her rather than find her disappointed that it wasn't the 7 day cruise. We were on the Magic last April.
Are you going on any excursions? We booked the Dolphin encounter on Nassau and the Lucayan Resort in Freeport.
We are driving down to Florida and staying near the port on Saturday night.
We're expecting ANOTHER major snow storm tomorrow!
I am so tired of snow.
We will be on the Stingray City excursion in Nassau and just hanging out in Freeport. My sister will be doing the Kayak trip at Freeport and we were going to do the Glass Bottom Boat trip but they were sold out.
We are arriving the day before also, but will be staying at the MCO Hyatt and arriving by Disney Bus.
My family and I are also driving down for the Easter Cruise on the Wonder. We are all virgin cruisers! My daughters are ALMOST 11 and 8 1/2 (what a co incidence) I also have a 5 year old son. Also a coincidence is that we just told our kids last night as well...my brother and his family are going the next week on the Magic and not talking about our trips was getting hard. We have signed up for the day in Atlantis (so my husband can escape to the casino for a few) and the banana boat ride at 1:25, just the girls. I really haven't signed up for anything at Freeport...the spa might be calling that day. We were shut out of parasailing. It was killing me not to reply to your posts...I joined last night and had to wait for "clearance". Anyway I am so excited..can't wait to bolt out of Cleveland!!!!!!
My whole crew are all virgin cruisers also. My DD is also ALMOST 11. She'll be 11 during Memorial weekend so she likes to say that she's 10 and 7/8. She is so excited about this cruise that it's been very hard to contain her excitment. She's known from the day that I won the trip.
I'm not sure if I could've kept it from her as you guys have. I've eaten, drank, breathed, and dreamt about this trip for 4 months. I've driven the rest of my family crazy and they're going with me! I give you guys kudos for keeping it in as long as you did.
