Still Hope for 7 Month Window

Very happy to report that I was able to book a OKW Grand Villa at 7 month window for March/April Spring Break. Was surprise to see Grand Villas were available at most of the DVC resorts.

I used online booking and had it set up to click at 8:00 am. I got called away from my computer and when I came back it was 8:15 and my connection had timed out. By the time I started over I made the reservation at 8:25 and confirmed 6 nights.

I just booked 6 nights in a Beach Club studio for my grandson's Spring Break -- first time I've gotten that much time there. His SB is early, tho, guess that helped. Glad I remembered that I needed to check today (been involved with other travel plans, and almost spaced this one out!).

I had started a wait list for a value studio at AKV about the 10 1/2 month mark and that came thru about 3 days before the 7 month window. It was a little complicated, because I needed to buy one extra point from Disney to finish the reservation, due to moving an SSR reservation over to VGF ( likely only time we'll be able to do that!!!). It all ended up working out, and we are going to have a great Spring Break!
