Booked my trip over a week ago and still haven't received my package with ME luggage tags. Leaving for WDW is 16 days. Mail service to my area is a little slow, has anyone from the New Orleans area had this problem? Should I call to see if they can send them FedEx or express mail and is there a specific phone number to call for ME questions.

Thanks!

i wouldnt worry about it until you get to the 10 day point we leave in 8 days and got are tags at the 13 day mark.

We got our tags yesterday and are leaving in 9 days- I checked- they won't fedex or priority mail them. I don't know why it takes so long, but they are individually printed for each party so that may be why...also, they said if I didn't get them not to worry, they can still get your luggage.

hope you get them...

I called them yesterday because I had received the package for my DFIL luggage tags but ours. They said not to worry that we were in the system and should get them. I had registered both of our rooms on the same day.

Does anyone know if you don't get them will they give you the coupon for the free pin that is included in the package???

We didn't get ours till the 8 day countdown !!

We still don't have ours and we leave in 8 days. TA said it was no big deal. Just give to baggage claim ticket to the ME people.

We leave in 8 days an have received nothing. I called last week and was told they were mailed out on the 10th. Then called back this week and told they were mailed on the 11th? That's over two weeks to come by mail? they assured me all was in order so I will just prepare to not have them. This is our first time to ever fly (never even been in an airport) so we are really nervous and this does not help the matter any.

We still haven't recieved ours either and we leave in ten days. Starting to panic a little.

Okay, attention please! Everyone! Well, at least everyone leaving soon who has not yet gotten the DME luggage tags....

Please, sit down. Now, sit back. Take a deep breath. Count to five slloooowwwwllly... Exhale. Repeat.

Okay, everybody calmed down? Good.

There is nothing to panic about. If you happen not to get your DME tags in time, don't worry. Disney has procedures in place.
In all cases, you simply check your luggage in at your home airport as usual.
If you got the tags, no problem. Attach one around the handle of each checked bag (before checking, of course) per the included instructions.
If you did not get your tag, you have two choices.
You can, of course, simply claim your luggage at MCO, bring it with you to the DME counter and then to the bus, and the driver will store it under the passenger compartment. She or he will then unload it at your resort, where you can either check it with Bell/Luggage Services right off the bat, or bring it with you to Registration - who knows, your room could be ready!
Or, you can proceed directly from your flight to the DME counter and tell them you didn't get the tags. The CM will either take your claim checks or write down the numbers (my preference, ymmv) and show you pictures of luggage so you can identify yours. The BAGS people will pull your luggage and transport it to your resort, where it will magically appear in your room within a few hours after you check in - just like the luggage of the Guests who did get the tags.

Our ME Tags arrived today via U.S. (snail) Mail.

We're leaving in 17 days (on 2/13).
