Still Confused About the Harry Potter Ride After Listening to the Podcast...

I was listening to the Universal podcast today and I'm confused about how the ride vehicle actually works. How are animatronics incorporated if you have a virtual reality thing over your head? The Sum of all Thrills in Epcot has that helmet that comes completely over your head and shoulders so there's no way to see anything outside of it. I know Forbidden Journey doesn't fully encase you like SOAT does, but I still don't see how you'd be able to interact with animatronics if your face is covered.

I don't think your face is covered at all. There have been pics posted on riders in the ride vehicle and they're not even wearing glasses.
