Still cant believe she said this!!

We were on a bus from AK to the Yacht club and my Dd and I were the only ones on the bus, so the bus driver starts talking to us I tell her we are going parasailing and wakeboarding at the contemporary later on.
Well she tells us about a brain eating ameoba that will kill us in 4 days!! Also about the aligators and snakes in the water!! Well of coarse my dd 10 is totally freaked out!! We had to have the whole staff at the contemporary tell her she will be ok!! Can you believe a Disney employee would say something like this to a kid?? FYI I do know that there is an ameoba in stagnent water.

That's pretty bad! Amoebas can live in most natural bodies of water-lakes, ponds, etc. It doesn't necessarily have to be stagnant water.

There is a amoeba that lives in fresh water here in FL. That is why you aren't allowed to swim in the lakes. She could have said it better but it is true.
