I'm trying to find sticks for my mickey fans. The ones I found in michaels arent big enough.
I'm at a lost can someone give me names of other places to get them.
Thanks

The proto type fan I made was on an 8 by 11 piece on card stock and then like you I had trouble finding sticks so I bought jumbo craft sticks($2.00-3.00 for a big package at Walmart) and then hot glued two together so they measured ten inches. When I put the fan together, the glued section was just below the fan and I tied a ribbon around the stick and added a crystal mickey to cover it up..... here's a picture. It seems strong enough....

best of luck with your plans!

Has anyone gotten in trouble making their own mickey fans? I was wondering if anyone from Disney gave you problems?

Ok this might sound tacky
but paint stirring sticks....at Lowes they are free...and don’t have their logo on them like homedepot...just ask for a bunch...they seem to be the correct length.

On that website, were you using the paint stirring sticks or the tongue depressor sticks. I'm planning on making them soon. But I'm worried that the paint stirrers are too long and the tongue depressors are too short. Is there a perfect length for the sticks?
