cell phone number 1
cell phone number 2

I'm planning on putting these on everything!!

THEN ON MY DAUGHTER

my name and cell phone numbers and Grandpa number here at home and a picture of me enough I have those child id kit things but concerned about putting her name on stuff as afried of giving too much info and then her thinking the person is a friend

thanks 10 days and can hardly wait

We never use labels on anything, but it is a great idea.

As for the child ID, we have used it forever.

We create our own IDs for the trip. On the ID, we have his picture, name, the Resort and our cell phone number (we always carry it with us).

On the Reverse side:
We have the pictures of any of the Adults who will be on the trip and may be responsible for him. we also have our names and in my mother's case the name he calls her as well.

In addition to his ID card we create cards for us as well. WE create at least 10 of these careds. Just in case we lose him, we can not only give a description to the Cast Member, but can provide a PICTURE and contact information.

As I always tell people this can be invaluable. When describing my son - I can say he is a 4 year old little boy, 3 ft tall, with Brown eyes and hair wearing a RED shirt. Just guess how many of these there are running around WDW on a given day. Having a photo id of him to give to Cast Members can assist them in finding him as well.

So far we have never have misplaced him. So, I am not sure if they will work, but I know it gives me a little reassurance.

I carry my children's state issued ID's with me. And they each carry a laminated card with their names, our names, our reservation info, cell phones, and closest relative's phone number.

Someone had suggested one time that each morning you take a polaroid shot of your child so that if he/she is lost you have a picture of what he/she was wearing that day - I thought that was a great idea but I don't own a polaroid.

It has also been suggested that if you are traveling with other people that might watch the kids from time to time (like grandparents or aunts & uncles) have a picture taken of that person with the child so that if challenged the person has a picture to show that he/she has know the child before that moment KWIM?

I made child id's from a website online and put them in lanyards for my girls - it was pretty good www.kidsafeid.com

Instead of a poloraid I think I'll take a digital photo each morning.

And another tip I had read about digital cameras was to take a photo of a card with your name & address so if someone wants to return your lost camera they can.
