Stevie Nicks is AWFUL!!

She was bad and weird. The hand gestures? I felt embarrased for her. She definitely needs a new stylist!! That outfit was awful. So was her eye makeup.

Her and Bob Dylan, I never understood how they had singing careers.

Well, I do...but I thought at some point someone wasn't high and realized how bad they sucked!

Ouch! That Hurt Stevie and Bob Dylan are two of my most favorite singers of all time.

I love Stevie but its definitely time for her to retire.

Why should she and others retire when there are plenty of fans still out there? The voice might not be like we all rememeber but being in the presence of such iconic personalities one last time is priceless, maybe it is just because these 60+ singers are of my era I feel this way but they are better than many of the persons who grace the stages of the current generation.

Obviously, there is no changing the mind of all you haters, but I thought I would bring to light that Stevie is still recovering from a very recent bout of PNEUMONIA that she came down with while right at the beginning of trying to promote her new cd. (Which has been called among her best work ever by Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly )

I agree with pp 100% I saw her perform on Ellen and she preformed with Pneumonia at her age that was taking quite a risk IMO but she did it rather than let her fans down.

This got me thinking of all the entertainers out there who are good performers but not good singers. Here's a few that come to mind:

Rod Stewart
Bette Midler
Joe Cocker
Peter Allen
Cher
Madonna

I'm sure I'll think of others. Remember this is JMHO.

Wow, I can't get on THIS train!!! Cher, Madonna, Bette...all great singers and performers, stellar entertainers as well IMHO. I'll give ya Rod Stewart and Joe Cocker although in their prime, they were fairly good singers with a unique style. I even like Rod's classics albums but the singing is not great-he's definitely standing on his fan base there.

I agree that Madonna is a mediocre singer. However, she is very smart, savvy, unique and hard-working and made the absolute most of her talent. There are much better singers out there who never made it because they lacked that kind of drive and determination.

I only know the phrase because my aunt and uncle had horses when I was growing up. It is amazing what people who don't know the reference think it means though.

Looks-wise, she's just fine in my eyes, although the hair could use something less rockerish at her age.

It's her voice that's going south! But if it's from pneumonia... I don't know, i was never a fan so I don't know how she's been sounding recently when she's been well.

sorry, but her voice has ALWAYS been painful for me to hear, it's got nothing at all to do with a recent bout of pneumonia, unless she's been suffering from it for the last 40+ years. personally, i just don't consider her a good singer at all. give me ann wilson any day. JMHO.
