I'm surprised he didn't die sooner for all the stupid things he did.

now why would you say soemthing like that. this man was risking his life for our "entertainment". how dare you say that he did stupid things in the event. of his death. even if he did do stupid things, you could of at least said somethin respectful .

That was VERY touching. Thanks for posting. It is so sad, and I almost feel silly to get teary eyed over a person I have never met, but he was such a driving force it is hard for me not to. He made it fun to learn and I can't count the many times when me and DH were being silly with the kids we pulled out the old Croc Hunter routine and wrestled with their stuffed animals. The animal world lost it's most ambitious advocate and the world lost a great teacher. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

He is the only person you would think would die from all his crazy stunts, but you can't expect him to ever die. We will all miss him.

:) :)

And he died 3 days before my b-day :(

Everyone's shocked and all that jazz. You had to know that, with the career path that he had chosen, there was a strong possibility that this was going to happen, just not that it would happen by way of a stingray or on the day it did. I'm not going to sit here and bash the crap out of whatever I feel like, but, you know, it was gonna happen. Life goes on, just remember him on occasion and it'll all be good :thumbsup2 .
