Stereo and Speaker Question

My small stereo has two speaker terminals – one for the left speaker and one for the right speaker. Can I hook up four speakers to the stereo somehow?

don't think so....not if you want to have sound thru all 4 at one time, due to the fact that you stereo has a set impedance for speaker output (say 8 ohms) and if hook up more then 2 speakers, the overall impedance will drop.
