Steal of a deal today

We had a sample sale at work today, with proceeds benefiting March of Dimes.

I bought a Noritake Colorwave 2 qt covered casserole for $3!! (everything is usually priced dirt cheap). I looked it up later on our website, for kicks because I didn't know if it was just a sample piece or something found buried in a stock room during inventory. It looks like we have discontinued it, only one other color was available by special order. The ticket retail is $100, on sale for $50! A web search found prices from $69.99 to $80+. I'm thrilled at my bargin purchase. I almost passed on the sale entirely because I figured I wouldn't find anything I needed.

love sample sales! my company had an awesome one in the fall and i got great deals. i didnt know how good it would be but i got there early just in case. boy was i glad i did b/c since there was one of each piece 10 min. in the sale was picked over in certain areas. i ended up paying way more than $3 but then again i bought xmas gifts, items for spring etc. now you know to hit up the next sale!
