Best steakhouse closest to Polynesian? I would like to have an adults only dinner and leave kids at the Neverland Club, but I'm not comfortable going too far.

Kona at the poly is very good for an adult dinner..excellent food/drinks..However the Contemp. right next door has the Concourse Steakhouse as well as the Cali Grill...GF has Narcoosees..with EXCELLENT food..wonderful views..my favorite adultish restuarant from our trip..I have tried the Yachtsman, but that is kind of far from the poly as you have to get to the MK and take a bus to the Yacht Club from there ( could be 30 min)..but it was a wonderul quiet adult dinner with YUMMY food.

Closest would have to be the Concourse Steakhouse--. In the Contemporary and a short monorail ride away.

I went to the Concourse Steak House last week and the steak was horible I think I could of pack things in it. It tasted like card board, but you may have a better time then me.

Last time we had DS in Neverland Club we ate at Artist Point at WL. I would check out the menus at www.allearsnet.com. they way you can see all the Options. I had the Steak at Califonia Grill once it was awsome.

last week, the steak in fact, and it was AWESOME - comparable to LeCellier steak and it has now become a MUST with us, when we visit WDW.

Ya, I have to 2nd this. I'm a steak man and was a little disappointed with the Concourse Steak House.
Though... I had a surprisingly EXCELLENT prime rib from Kona.
Good luck :)

Best steak we had all week was the filet at Kona. We are going back in Dec. and have already booked Kona for dinner again.

We just returned from the Polynesian two days ago. Both the steak and the atmosphere at the Concourse Steak House were disappointing. IMO, it's a good thing they're closing down this restaurant... I've been to Kona Cafe and it was wonderful. Take full advantage of everything the Polynesian has to offer and dine there - you won't regret it. :goodvibes
