LeCellier has become a tradition for us, we love it very much. But we are looking for a replacement. Where else can we get a yummy steak without using 2TS? Thanks!!

It was on the rumor board...

Is Captain's Grille at Beach club? One TS?

Yes that is 1 TS.

Chefs de France also has a grilled beef tenderloin which is very good and 1 TS.

Kouzzina has a steak option and is 1 TS.

1 TS restaurants that serve steak are Captain's Grille (Yacht Club), The Wave (CR), Kouzzina (BW), Kona Cafe (Poly), Whispering Canyon (Wilderness Lodge), and there are others too. I think just about every 1TS restaurant in a Disney resort will serve some type of steak.

Kona Cafe's steak is pretty good, but IMO Yachtsman is where you want to go for a great steak, but that is 2 credits, I think (I don't do DDP). I would try Kona, you can get there very easily from the MK and the Poly is a beautiful resort to visit.

Raglan Road comes to mind...but even better than the steak: Bread and Butter Pudding! (I need to insert a smilie here that involves drooling:hyper:) I guess this guy will have to do...

Are you planning your 2011 ADR's? I'm impressed! Rest assured the 2010 Dining Plan is still intact.

Surprisingly enough, Tony's. Everything else we had that night was pretty "meh", but DH's NY strip was drool-worthy...SO good.

we really liked the steaks at Kona Cafe(Polynesian) and Turf Club (Saratoga Springs Resort)

In order to keep this very valid restaurant question on the main board right now I've removed the rumored information from the original post, as well as all subsequent discussion about the rumor.

The rumor about LeCellier is a huge deal for Disney Dining Fanatics, but even with the fairly reliable sources confirming the rumor, it is still just a rumor at this time.

All discussion about any potential changes at LeCellier is being kept in this one thread here, until there is confirmation from Disney of this change.

WHile it's not a traditional meat-and-potatoes steak dinner, the steak at Teppan Edo is always excellent.

Otherwise, another vote for Turf Club.

The steak at Teppan Edo was good.

I had the steak at Coral Reef and it was very good.

We moved from Le Cellier to Chefs de France several years ago and have not went back. The steak is SO much better. We get the Filet! :goodvibes Its our favorite place at EPCOT! And its only 1 TS.

Another vote here for coral reef. My whole family had some sort of seafood while I went with the steak. It was definitely above average.

The Turf Club at Saratoga Springs Resort has an amazing filet. We go there every trip for dinner. The atmosphere is fantastic there - very relaxing, great decor, etc.

Boatwright's at POR

It was recommended by a Disney Dining Representative when I couldn't get our usual Le Cellier reservation. The steak "medallions" were very good.

Grilled Tenderloin Medallions - served with Crayfish, Honey-Mustard Mashed Sweet Potatoes, and Rum Demi-glace $26.99

DH had really good prime rib at Grand Floridian Cafe.

I'm seeing more good things about GFC. We have eaten there the past couple of trips and wondered why we didn't go there more often. :earsboy:
