For our 25th wedding anniversary and using the DDP, should we eat at the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club for diner and use up 2 TS credits ?

What about Le Cellier Steakhouse in EPCOT for our 25th anniversary ?
That would be only 1 TS

Which is better ?

Should we eat somewhere else ?

IMO, YSH blows Le Cellier out of the water. I thought Le Cellier was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. I have since had 4 amazing meals at YSH (including littler perks for our anniversay, 3 times). :thumbsup2 After eating at YSH, I don't think I could go back to Le Cellier.

I have to second CamColt's statement - Yachtsman is awesome!!! They were recently named the #1 Disney owned signature restaurant on disney property. They still had cut their steaks daily and all of their food is freshly prepared everyday.

I have had many birthday dinners there and they have always been awesome. The Chefs and Managers there are awesome!!! I have ordered some great cakes from there also their pastry chef makes the best cakes- I think his are the best on property.

When you make your ADR tell them it's your anniversary also, I have had special menus at the YSH.

Have a great time!!!!

How Awesome.:thumbsup2
Thank you for all the Yachtman Steakhouse comments.
We plan on splurging and staying at the YC, so I thought the Yachtman Steakhouse would be a great choice.

Our teen DS & DD love filet mignon and could get it with out a sauce on it.

Yachtsman Filet Mignon - 8-ounce filet with mashed potatoes and a red wine sauce sounds great to DH & me.
DS would want steak fries - not mashed, not sure if they can handle fries.

I wonder if they could do a small cake for us? We are only 4 people.
Maybe we should get the Dessert Sampler Platter for Two and just share it.

DD would want the Sorbet Trio and DS would want the Housemade Gelato.

Call In room dining and order a cake they can tell you your options 407-934-3105. We always order a bit bigger and take it back to the room. I pack some ziplocs and forks and plates with me. It's a good snack in the room.

You can ask for no sauce on the filet and the filet is my favorite it just melts in your mouth. They don't do fries but they have gratin potatoes good and cheesy.

The deserts are awesome too.

Have a great trip!!

We've also got to agree with CamColt about YSH. We've never had a bad meal there. Food is always cooked the way we request and presented nicely. Service is outstanding We go often and have a favorite server there, Oscar, who always treats us well. But we've got a dilemma now, our favorite server from Artist Point (which would also be a good choice for your dinner) just switched to the Yachtsman so we don't know which to request.
