So we are planning a trip with 5-7 adults most are meat and potato type people and are interested in a steak meal. I know LeCellier BUT we have been there before and if i can come up with someplace else for 1TS It would be great...can anyone give me options of places they have been and why you liked it? Thanks so much!!!

The Concourse Steakhouse has a decent steak and is 1 TS. I feel that the Yach Club is worth the 2 TS credits.

The Pepper Market at Coronado Springs has steak on the menu and it is a counter service credit. Maybe you could do that place for dinner one night and then do a 2 TS the next.

Also Chef Mickeys has prime rib on the buffett. Not sure if that counts. That is 1 TS. Depending on when you go the buffett at 1900 Park Faire also had prime rib but they are renovating right now.

I have found that Disney took the filets off most of the 1 TS restaurants. It used to be at the Coral Reef and it's gone, and CRT too.

My favourite steak is the NY Strip Steak at the Coral Reef! Its devine and the sides are delicious!:yay:

One word: Shula's!!

World class steaks and potatoes the size of your head! It's a no brainer...

Shulas is not on the dining plan. It's at the Dolphin, or is it the Swan? - well either way its at one of them.

Another vote for COncourse, their chipotle ribeye is great!

Depending on when you're going, Concourse Steakhouse is set to close in spring 2008.

And my vote is for Yachtsman Steakhouse for the best steak, unfortunately it is 2 TS.

:thumbsup2 That's where we're having dinner this Friday night! :thumbsup2
DS9 can't wait. All he talks about is having a HUGE steak there.

Thanks everyone! I have sent the menu list to a few of our friends and I'm letting them decide! I think we may go for Concourse tho, esp. since we hadn't planned to go to the Contemporary and its a good excuse to go there!

I had 5 steaks on my last trip and hands down Coral Reef it was even better than Le cellier.

I eat a lot of steak at WDW. My favorite is at Jiko's followed closely by California Grill. I also like the steak at Brown Derby and Yachtsmen steakhouse. I haven't tried Le Cellier yet but will be there for dinner on our next trip. My DH jokes about how I eat filet mignon every night for dinner. Why not? It's my vacation!

LOL, I have no idea, but you'd think a place names SHULA's would be at the DOLPHIN :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

We enjoy the filet at Kona Cafe (Polynesian Resort).

It is even BIL approved. If you like it well done, they cut it into medallions. If you like it rare or medium it is perfectly charred on the outside and just what you want on the inside. Also there are other entrees for the non-meat people like tilapia (yummy!).

Great drinks and wonderful coffee too.

I know you are most likely on the DP but the cost was better than Yachtclub Steakhouse too.

Another vote for Shula's! It is located in the Dolphin and the food is superb. Very generous portion sizes and the staff was very friendly! I would highly recommend that place to anyone! :)

Since you are looking for a 1 TS on the DDP, the "Seriously Sirloin Steak" at Raglan Road was excellent! As was most everything we had there! :thumbsup2
